Oh wow! If it isn't, it would be so great.

Right? But then that would completely throw off all the analysis everyone has been doing regarding their approvals. Although, the USCIS has probably done stranger things.

July 2 was on a Sunday. That makes me skeptical.

@trames87

That app shows the dates as people put there. They may even make a mistake and put july instead of June. Those countries too can always be wrong because again you can put anything you want there. Only the wac number matters.

no app can get any more information than it's written on the uscis website, number date and case status. Otherwise it would be illegal.

But I will scan first week of July just in case tonight :) cause I'm a curious person

It's ok :)

@JSCGPV if you have time today this could be good opportunity for us to try doing it?

I was wondering of the possibility of it being a mistake.  I have learned, however, to not be surprised when it comes to the USCIS. Nothing they do seems to make sense.

My application was received on July 10.... I started to wonder last week why I had not heard back... we should be at the consulate stage by now (based on the timeline given to me back in July). Then I come here and discover the horror. What has caused these horrific delays? There has to be an explanation. My fiance's lease ends in March, and we have our wedding planned for April....  I had thought I had given ourselves a good buffer by applying early July...guess I was wrong...

Unfortunately, most of us who have filed in July have seen our timeline go from late October to early January.

Not uscis but the person who puts this info to the app makes the mistake here. Thinking their noa received is their receipt date, or simply don't want to give real info..

Oh, I know what you meant. I just didn't communicate my response well.

I get a July 17 date, but the WAC still shows as case received on case tracker app.

I’m also a first week July filer, so imagine the glee I felt when I read about that July case.

You know better not to fall to those emotional traps! You are trained during your wait in May and June!
