Hey guys, I need your opinion. My fiancé is from Honduras and currently there has been many protest about the fraud in presidential elections. These protest have now turned into violent protest my fiancé has reported  transportation has been shutdown. Citizens have burned down two museums and created fires also closed roads into important towns, and military have been trying to control those protestors. These news can be found by googling ‘Honduras News’ in news reporters like ‘the New York times’ , ‘BBC NEWS’ and even on tv in Spanish Univision news. My fiancé claims ‘there has been a delayed official election and she fears that if the president that they have gets re-elected this might start a war within Honduras, we both saw news on deaths due to these violent riots’

Based on the following article

https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/PolicyManual-Volume1-PartA-Chapter12.html

is it worth calling to have my request expedited due to humanitarian reasons (please read link, footnote #3)

i have asked her to stay Home for the time being and she said ‘even if she wanted to leave she couldnt’ Businesses and transport are all stopped.

Thank you guys for your support

Harold

I'm starting to get nervous about basically everything in general.

My SO is coming to visit next weekend. He's going to be here for like, 22 days. Some of it is for work, but most of it is just for the holidays. I've never worried about him getting turned away at the POE, but with the timelines getting pushed back into January I'm worried that they'll be weird about it.

I hope that everyone has a good weekend. <3

@Naes, you are awesome. If I had a VPN and knew how to run these scans I'd totally help you out. Alas, I am a little deficient in that area.

Thank you but you are all awesome!

Just please keep each other positive and happy because it is really hard,

you guys have each other and that's really really important for your health and your relationships to stay healthy too.

There will be someone doing when July comes don't worry.

I'm just trying to support whatever month they are doing when people who are doing the scans are not available (as too many people doing it would actually cause servers to slow.)

July 7 filer here.. I've gotten numerous updates today from the USCIS app saying cases similar to mine have been updated, and most of them approved.. trying to understand what's going on here. Is anyone else getting these or know what they mean?

I downloaded the USCIS app as well and I have also been getting these case updates about "cases similar to mine". After reviewing the cases, many of them have a NOA1 date a month or more earlier than mine and are for other countries than Brazil (my fiances country).  For example, our NOA1 received date is June 30th / receipt date July 5th and many of today's cases are from end of April, May and June.  Honestly I am a bit disappointed at the volume of approvals, or lack thereof, that have come through.  I was hopeful that they would start churning through June cases this week and start on July in the next 2 weeks or so.  Fingers crossed, positivity is the only weapon we have to use at this point!  Stay strong everyone, I share your frustration and pain with all of this waiting.

I-129F Sent: June 22nd, 2017 (via attorney) :D

I-129F Received: June 30th, 2017 (USCIS date) :)

I-129F NOA1: July 5th, 2017 (VJ date)

I-129F NOA2: January 16th, 2018 :D

This is the situation guys,

It's not like there's movement in July. but I know July is also getting more anxious (extremely understandable...)

So wanted to update you as well.

----------------------Repost from May and June

Hey everyone!

I am here with the weeklies of this week!

A really Important thing that everyone should know.

The numbers are not low, they are just spread to 3 different months at once.

I am going to do a overall analysis tomorrow (I don't know why but I was too sleepy this whole day)

And show you how actually the numbers are still wayyyyyy better than what we thinks is happening..

Add around a 10 to these numbers

(when an rfe changes its status I only count the latest status... and yes yes I just realized I was doing it all the time...

So if I look too much in the past and an rfe for example became approved it looks like they touched less than they actually did.)

Weekly Overall

April      May     June    July    Aug     Sept      Oct    Total
2017/11/27 15 79 33         127
