you know I thought the same. my fiancé has a treadmill in the garage so I def want to work out every morning.

and I also do lots of arts and crafts and baking. I will re-invent my recipes as the ingredients are sooo different in the US.

plus don't forget - all these things to do, get a SSN, get a car, driving licence, update CV, find your way around, adjust to life, .....

Cool Crafting... I use to have a craft store here in The Nederlands,

I sold my store and of course I keep few craft supplies (I'm sending 3boxs with craft supplies to the us) that so when I get there I can care on with my hobby/work...

I use to design for the craft markt... And also import craft products from the US...

I soon will start a facebook page for my crafting in the US.

and Because I don't have a job now, I exercises a lot and discover this amazing workout called Calisthenics... so addicted....

I like to think I'm good once I'm there without job....

of course that is just a fantasy... I'm sure I will be bored as hell... to much free time... LOL

and I will definitely get my English to a better level... LOL

oooh wow, that's crazy :) glad you ship your stuff and don't throw away! that's so worth it to keep...

and there you have a bunch of cool stores also like Michaels, Jo-Anne, etc...

hope your fiancé has enough space for you to start your art and craft there. who knows, maybe you can prepare so much stuff while not being allowed to work, and later start a store or little online shop or etsy or something :)

N-400: 12/05/2023 (confirmed fingerprints are re-used)

I'm sorry guys I scanned full July , and it's only those two random Withdrawals(Didn't see any RFE for the day) and no other consistent activity to call it getting ready.

Most likely somebody updated their case dates wrong on most apps...

other than the wac numbers everything is what people put there..You can put any date and any country there, so I don't really believe in that apps updates.

Since November started these are the only activities visible

WAC1790403800 11/3/2017 Your Current Status: Date of Birth Was Updated
WAC1790385816 11/7/2017 Your Current Status: Request for Additional Evidence Was Mailed
WAC1790383909 11/8/2017 Your Current Status: Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received
WAC1790387048 11/9/2017 Your Current Status: Name Was Updated
WAC1790410121 11/15/2017 Your Current Status: Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received

WAC1790406697 11/28/2017 Your Current Status: Withdrawal Acknowledgement Notice Was Sent

Edit: Case tracker I think is the best app to follow if you want date info.

But it doesn't send notices unless you add cases..

I wanted to apologize to the group.  I forwarded a thread about the potential government shutdown yesterday but I should have done my homework first.  I didn't start the conversation but I did add a link.  As it turns out, USCIS is not impacted by a government shutdown.  They are a fee based agency so other then their HR department, visas will continue to be processed.

I am sorry if my post caused any extra stress.  We certainly don't need that.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

John, Thanks for updating us on this, I am sure they will find a way to slow down again if they get a chance, it is one worry less though

Well i still believe July filers will going to have NOA2 by mid december.

I am not really in a hurry though because of my work i still need to teach my two new trainees before i can resign at work so last week of december for NOA2 is fine ( for us ).

So my USCISApp very nearly gave me a heart attack earlier. Received a notification, however I can't see any updates to my status online in the app. So mean! Anyone else had this?

It looks like your inquiry has been assigned a referral number.  I got that off the Case Tracker app.  Did you call then to file the inquiry?  It shows you are on day 135.  My understanding is that they won't do an inquiry until after day 182.  I'm at 176 and haven't heard anything at all.  When I try to do an inquiry they just tell me I am within the normal processing time.

I was sure we’d hear something by December as well, but now I’m not so sure.

I did an enquiry during the USCIS online Sept glitch a few weeks ago.  I rang them up, then they assigned someone to the request, and I received a letter saying I was within limits and they are up to 1 May (which is what it went to after USCIS fixed the glitch online).  I'm on day 127 now so I know we have some more time to wait, but with the glitch I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.  I have the app and never got a notification from it at all, so perhaps it is something else?  Just a thought because I don't think the enquiry equaled a status change.  When I logged onto the site on a pc it shows the enquiry and letters under 'case history'. @Tracey&Terence I hope it is some good news, can you log onto a computer to see on the USCIS site?  It seems to have more info than the app.
