So... What exactly would this mean? Even greater delays? Sorry if this is obvious, I'm having a major brain fog day.

If there is a shutdown, all non-essential employees would be on unpaid furlough.  USCIS, NVC, and COs at the Embassies are non-essential employees.

I think literally that would be "you have to laugh or you'll cry" for me.  I would just completely go off the deep end probs.

Another July one: Applied July 19th, RFE sent, country is Haiti.

Hmm I hope they're doing the getting ready part then.. sometimes they do the check on files beforehand and send if there are small rfes. 

could you send me the dates of others so we can update the July scan?

 

note: if it was one or 2 with times apart I would easily say expedite. But these are too close and in one month order so I would hope this is the first checks 🤞

The other two I got this morning on the app were two RFE received, apply date July 2nd, country was both the Philippines. I'm guessing this is the slow trickle before the flood, too. Although the flood is a ways off. BUT, June isn't really picking up like May did so maybe they're trying to do two months more at the same time to "catch up"? I can't imagine even a government agency would tolerate such a slowdown in productivity forever.

They're doing 3 months right. April May and June with focus on May. July almost definitely won't start till they're all over June. 

 

But if you see these rfes through the week continuously that would mean they're doing preparations.

 

however even june is kind of stuck right now... so my whole heart is thinking positively  

 

let me try and update July as soon as I can so we can see if there's a real flow of movement.

 

Please update me if there's anything new happening. I don't have the means to check a fourth month at this moment unless something is definetely happening
