Another week has passed and NOTHING!!! This process SUCKS!!!

Has as anybody ever gotten this response?  No 30-45 days or waiting on background checks or anything...  really no valuable info at all about my case. 

Well, shoot that's a new one. That almost sounds like another way of saying you are still in received status, also.

With my email inquiry, they are still completing background checks. I can't imagine background checks taking eight months.

Yep, a Joke alright. I don't know what is so hard about just saying. Yes we received your case and It's out of normal processing times, but we are backlogged and have not looked at it yet, but it is here.

I can't either. Seriously if they can't find everything out about a person in a month at most then they probably aren't going to find anything new in the next 7-8 months.

My case USCIS said "Your case is currently being adjudicated." and wait 45 days bla, bla ,bla.

Ok, I get that, but W T F it takes 45 days to make a decision? It's a good thing they get paid by the hour, because if it was by the job they would all be dirt poor.

I don't either. Seems like its all the same thing with a different twist on words.

Coffee or bribe money. They could all be millionaires if they did, lol

Man, it sure feels like the 24 is the least touched day, but if you go by percentages then the 17th is the least touched day per cases for that day. I guess they don't like those two days.

I would like to know that too. If our case takes another 45 days, we’ll be approved after 9 months waiting, what a joke

Believe it or not I thought that, too. But I went back and looked at some past posts on VJ from years ago, and some of them were talking about 250+ day wait times from NOA1 to NOA2.  Either way it still isn't a good business process.
