I sent in service request for being over the normal processing time last week on Tuesday however had no update till yesterday.  I called yesterday and requested Tier 2.  The system said I will be called back in 73 minutes however, no call came in.  Today I called in again this morning and requested Tier 2.  The system gave me 38 minutes and that was 2 hours ago, still no call back.

Not sure whats going on, shall I call back again and request Tier 2 once more?

07/27/17 - K1 packet sent at the end of day.

07/31/17 - NOA1

03/22/18 - NOA2

08/28/18 - expected date for medical completion - Sputum test was needed

09/22/18 - anticipated interview date

If they don't call you back today, get in touch with your congressperson!! They'll reply to them.

I did also send a service request to USCIS on Feb. 20th last week, however, no response.

I just sent fax authorization to US IL Senator for my case.  Lets see how it goes.

Maybe you will hear something in the next day or two since you sent yours in on the 20th and I sent mine the 18th. But up until today I called everyday after I sent mine in, and it didn't matter if it was Tier 1, 2, or 3000, they all gave me the same canned answer. "I see you have a inquiry in please wait xxx days for a response, bla, bla, bla......."

At this point, we're all super understanding and on the same ship. Sure a lot of people are still awaiting their approvals, but all the batches before us have gotten a reply in 3-4 months.

This sudden and ridiculous increase in waiting time can make anyone lose hope and angry. I just want to know what happened at the office, but noone will tell us... :(

I was hoping to be at home and married by now too..........

I just feel so stagnant. I can't plan much in my home-country because I am immigrating, I can't start my life in US because I will have to fly out every other month, and who knows, the customs might turn me away. And that's just a stupid way to spend money. I feel like USCIS is putting a lot of people's life on hold and won't tell us why... :(

Agree completely, but we can do nothing but sit here and wait and wait and wait

Well, good, bad, or otherwise I finally heard something back from my inquiry. Looks like the standard answer, but at least it's something.:D

See Below:

The status of this service request is:

On 02/18/2018, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I129F to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* within 45 days.

*A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice , Request for Evidence, or Notice of Intent to Deny.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

Why can't they, for once in their lives, just be honest?  They apparently answer to literally no one and no agency anyway; what's the harm in "We're severely backlogged and will do the best we can to get to your case in a timely fashion"?  Because unless you're trying to marry a terrorist, straight-up adjudicating your case will not, in fact, take 45 days.  Will probably take half an hour or less, in fact...once they get to it.

Telling us straight doesn't speed things up any, of course, but I'm a huge fan of transparency and honesty.  It just makes things easier to deal with.  And I simply do not understand why they feel the need for all this cloak and dagger nonsense when they're fooling no one with an internet connection.
