@Naes After how many days we can call to enquire about updates? For our RFE received status??

What will happen after RFE received status??

How many days they will take to issue NOA2 ???

Thanks a lot for help🙏🏻

1. Maybe 2 weeks

2. You'll wait and they will make a decision

,depending on the situation they may rarely ask for another rfe (rarely)

3. They have time up to 60 days to make a decision. For most k1 cases it is 1 week to a month.

It is tough waiting! But here’s a few ideas of things you can do to make time go by faster:

- check for shots/vaccines necessaries

- check for documents necessary for the interview. For example, I requested a police certificate from the UK which is where I’ve lived aside from my home country, asked my fiancé to get a birth certificate (some have said we may take copies but we had the time, he ordered an original one)

- get vacuum bags and start packing / selling / donating stuff

- if you’re still working, figure out when you’d like to hand in your notice. We were originally going to wait for NOA2 but just had to give that up because I have to leave my flat and if it it comes to it, wait at my parents

- find other ppl that have interviewed at your country and ask them how it went

- make an inquiry at USCIS and also contact your cogressperson. We contacted ours back in December online, they never replied, so we rang them and went to their office

- search for jobs in the US, can’t hurt, right?

And finally, keep our hopes up!!!!

DONE IT ALL (except for the congressman thing, I'm too patient for my own good). God help me.

• I am getting my vaccines in a few hours through a government clinic. It's cheaper than what is quoted on the VisaJourney Singapore Visa-medical reviews.

• I've only ever lived in Singapore and its police certificate requires a scan of the document that is requesting for police certificate which will be in my packet 3.

• Going to U.S. on 7th March for a month to calm my tits(/mind). I'll print the compiled documents -- I have a printer at my home in U.S., no printer at my home in Singapore -- and carry my fiancée's original documents back to Singapore.

• I've packed. And reorganised many times what I will bring over in my upcoming trip and what I will bring over during PoE.

• I've handed my notice at work because my company is the only one in this country(/universe) that needs me to send in 3 months notice and train a bazzilion people in my last months. I've even gotten a bunch of recommendation letters from my ex-superiors and trainees.

• I have read reviews from 2016 onwards and asked previous Singaporeans K1 and CR1 applicants, not many btw, how everything went so I am prepared. I usually never remember dates for anything, and numbers, but I've memorised all the special dates my fiancée remembers and how much he earns.

• I've found potential jobs that I've sent resumés and cover letters to. The thing is... some jobs available now will not be available when I receive my EAD God knows when. But I did read somewhere on VJ that I could try to expedite EAD if I have an employment offer (don't take my word for it - I calculate the chances of success at maybe 30%).

I'm fine... I just don't understand how 4-6 months from petition to Visa-on-hand became 9-12 months, perhaps more. :')

Currently, I am spending all the time I can going around my home country like a tourist, spending time with the very few people I like, help with my brother's upcoming wedding and making arrangements for my grandmother's wellbeing, among other things.

You, my love, are my goddess! I love how prepared you are. You are brilliant!

I'd love to know if that expedited EAD because of a job offer truly works, cause if so I can start looking for jobs a lot sooner than I thought. My field of expertise isn't that common so any extra time spent looking is a bonus.

On another note, I hear a good massage works best to calm ones tits. ;)

So from what I've read, it's usually jobs that are of importance. Government jobs, life-saving jobs, executive posts, you name it, these get mostly expedited. There's very little posts about this because previously, it doesn't take long to be approved an AP and EAD anyway. About 3-4 months.

Ordinary jobs, especially if your spouse makes more than 125% of the poverty line already, usually never gets expedited. Ordinary jobs like customer service, retail and office jobs. Again, very little posts about this. So don't take my word for it. I will try to get a job offer because I'm a workaholic, and I will try to get an EAD expedited because there is no harm. If it's denied, then I just have to wait and worse case, find a new job when I have an EAD on hand.

Yes, well, unfortunately, noone in Singapore to massage my boobs for me right now. :(

Hello guys,

I am here because I really got frustrated today. I am a petitioner from Kenya petitioning my fiancee in Kenya. I sent my I-129f in July last year and after 6 months of waiting my petition was approved. From approval date, 20th January 2018, the process went much faster than I had  anticipated, the nvc received my package on February 8 and by February 20th the embassy in Nairobi and already emailed me that they were ready to process the k1 visa. That was pretty first and I was so excited. My fiancee filled up and submitted the ds-160 and I helped her register on the embassy website to book the appointment. When I got to the payment stage, I got a message saying that there are no available appointments and that I should check after a few days. That was really discouraging! Has anyone ever experienced this? and how long does it take before there are slots?

I hear many other beneficiary from many different countries having this problem. What they did was check every single day for slots. It's fastest fingers first.

Just weird instructions that the U.S. Embassy in their countries (mine too, actually, lol) send to the beneficiary. The usual instructions you know? Like how to book medical and interview date, what to bring exactly, U.S. consulate address, parking instructions and stuff.

The packet(s) have the case number that the beneficiary has to present during interview.

No worries if future wifey doesn't have it. Some countries send packets electronically. You should contact the U.S. embassy in Kenya and ask them how will she prove her case number. It's usually an e-mail the embassy sent either of you or.... you guess it.... the packets.

Thank you! I don't have to worry about that since the embassy sent me an email with a case number and a link to check instructions. Now let me  keep on checking for open slots.

~Hey everyone july filer here ~

*Today my fiance called CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTRE to enquire about our RFE status.

*So TIER 1 said that it will take 50-60 days to get response about your RFE. Then my fiance said that i know that information all ready because it’s mentioned online. Then My Fiance said that i want to talk to TIER 2, then she reacted weirdly ,said that why you want to talk to TIER 2 because they will inform you the same information but my fiance argued with her and she said the wait is over 35 minutes, they will call you back when it’s your turn.

*Finally he got Call back, TIER 2 officers Name was ISO Gonzalez he was so nice , calm attitude and then he asked for more information about us and he said that they all ready received our RFE 13 days ago that means 16 February.

Then he said that they started viewing our case 8 days ago that means February 21.(but nothing is updated on the app,not even online,no mail)

The officer said that they will send case reply soon may be tomorrow , a week or it could be a month.

Then he said good luck sir 😀

I know I detailed everything but may be it could have helped somebody like me who’s frustrated from the wait time periods.

GOOD LUCK ALL (JULY FILERS) and all filers❤️

I think Ive heard about Gonzalez! lol he has a good rep... its crazy that I know this. hehe anyways good luck to you.. an approval is on its way!!
