Still no update online.

 

We were approved on Feb 20th and we got the letter in the mail today. Nothing online! My fiance called on Feb 23rd but they gave us wrong information. I think Calling them is a waste of time.

I hope everybody will get the approval very soon.

Sent in RFE. How long does it take to get response back from RFE? I know the technical answer is it could take 60 days, but realistically what do most people see an answer within in VJ?

After they change the received status, 1 week to a month is the most common in k1 cases.

Hey everyone. This is my first time sort of posting here. I'm the beneficiary. I'm from Kenya. We got the NOA2 on Jan 29. I have my medical examination at 7.30am today. I know everything is alright but I can't help being nervous. Ill post how it went after.  Wish me luck.

Called and received my case number from the NVC. It is being processed electronically. My fiance is super excited. I love hearing his excitement. It almost helps the loneliness I feel without him.

Got my approval of the 9Feb. Have not checked NVC yet, as I wanted to give them some time. Got an email today while I was having lunch with my fiancee that it is through the NVC and on it's way to the Tokyo embassy. I'm heading back home to the US in a couple of hours. But we are so happy, knowing that soon we will walk through security and into the plane together.
