I can't take it anymore, such lack of information, who knows if they have even started our background check! It's been with them for over 7 months, why whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Funny is that the background check should take no longer than 15 minutes on their super computers pulling information off of Google, FB, LexisNexis, Credit bureaus etc.  If there is something, then it should be communicated to us else this is all delay tactic or USCIS hiding their own deficiencies.

Credit bureaus and else they dont care but only care  about criminal stuff

In any case, all or a subset (criminal) should complete in the matter of minutes.  If something shows up then that should be available to be discussed with the USC.

Hey friends, do any of you know if the CEAC website is working? I just got off the phone with an NVC rep ( who was really polite), he gave me my number, but it doesn't appear on the website yet.

We are here stuck with our NOA1s... maybe try one of those NVC threads, someone posted a link not long ago, I think it was called “January NOA2 NVC”

It's Friday again and still no signs of approval... I just called UCSIC and requested to speak to tier 2 but they did not transfer the call to them saying that they got a command not to transfer to tier 2 since they are veryyy busy.

Hang in there :). We are all together in this, maybe we'll see a few mail approvals on the weekend.

If it is at the start for example - They sent NOA1 and didn't reach you, so it is back to them. and If they send you again it becomes "re-mailed" and that would say "document was mailed" so basically any document sent can be this from what I gather.

Has anyone else been having trouble with the DS-160 form? I'm trying to start the application, but every time that I enter the country that I'm applying from, it goes to an application error page and asks me to enter my Application ID...but I haven't started the application yet, so I don't have an ID. Anyone else having that problem?

 

Also, I received my NVC case number by email on Feb 22nd. Should I be receiving something in the mail as well from them? Like Packet form 3? What exactly is that btw? I hear everyone talking about it, but I'm unsure what it is.

Packet 3 is basically the instructions from your embassy about what to do after NVC- medical, scheduling and the documents needed for your interview.
Some embassies physically mail you the packet 3 and others let you look at it online.
