Wishing you all a good week with lots of approvals  you're all so close and some of you are approved and don't even know it yet! Don't let this process wreck what you have.

We really need some BIG july approvals, everyone is going crazy after 7 months waiting and our lives are being impacted negatively because we're all stuck!

Hi guys, been watching out for all of you, hoping to see more approvals. Remember, it will come, and while it sucks, it's incredible that we've all found someone we love THIS MUCH to go through SUCH SHIPLAP for a happy ending.

Question :

So i got my NVC case number..

I tried to check status in the website for  ceac but it says its invalid case number..

Could it be because it's new?

Did you pick Immigrant Visa from the drop down? Also, sometimes mine also says invalid case number.  Refresh and try again?

Hey guys, my fiance and I were together for a few days, now back to LDR, called NVC yesterday, they still haven't received my case, approved on Feb 6th.

Has anyone from feb 6 been given the nvc case number yet?

Good luck everyone.

Yeh I hear ya. USCIS pretty much ended my 3.5 year relationship, but I'll still run scans. Not something I want to talk about in public though.

@JSCGPV it seems to me that this is what parts of the current administration want, if they can delay everything so much that people give up they have won, Please don't let them win, there are many like John & Rose are still waiting, my fiancée and I are just getting to the tense part as the USCIS are heading towards September, there are many days when I am worried sick as to when we will get our NOA2 and how many problems before it arrives. All I can ask how long have you waited?  do you love each other? then please try to give the process a few more weeks......... at least they are working on and around your date!

Has anyone started gathering documents for Packet 3?  I was wondering what do we do if we've never been married before since on the Packet 3 checklist, it asks to gather all the require documents; Marriage certificates, court records, military records, etc... being some of those. Do we just checkmark them even if we don't have any of those documents?

@kat.cap13 what did you do ?

I can call tonight.  Tell me what you did when you called.  Was it giving the beneficiary's passport number and date of birth?  It asks for applicant number and since the petitioner is not applying for a visa, I'm assuming that I give my Egyptian fiancé's passport number and DOB.  PM me tonight and I will let you know.  I have a doctor's appointment at 5pm, but I can call them when I get home.  We were approved on the sixth too.

I'm sorry to hear about that.  We went through a lot of ups and downs.  We had a fight the other night because he is really scared at the responsibility of coming here and trying to support me.  I know that we sign an Affidavit of Support as the petitioner, but in some cultures, it is unacceptable for a man to allow his wife to support him.  So male beneficiaries have a lot of anxieties and unrealistic expectations on themselves when faced with actually coming here.  So, having the wait from USCIS being over brings new stresses.  None of this is easy and people don't understand.  I hope you find people you trust from this forum or from other venues who can relate to what you have gone through and can give you the care and support you need.  Feel free to reach out at any time.  I care very much even though I don't know you because this is like a brotherhood.  And so do a lot of the others.  Be well...
