Hi all,

 

Yesterday I received the email from the Consulate (Amsterdam) that I'm ready to schedule my interview. When I try to do so I get the error 'case number not ready for interview'. Someone else (also Amsterdam) has the exact same problem!  I already emailed the technical support desk of that website, but I hoped that someone knows what can cause this. I did read somewhere that it can be possible it has to do with your DS-160 status but that not every consulate updates your DS-160 till after the interview. I'm not sure if I'm in the right thread here, if not can someone tell me where I should post this? Many thanks!!

Yes they did. They received their NOA2 on 3rd February.

Yes we did. We received everything (NOA2,  NVC case number, packet 3 and packet 4) and once you receive packet 4 you're ready to schedule (it also says in the e-mail that you get in packet 4)

Wow! Congratulations ...... Iam the beneficiary all the way long from Nepal .... Havent got noa2 since 233 days what is packet 3 and 4? Where are you from?

Your petitioner really should contact them ,a letter won't suddenly go away just because they didn't update the status.

You may be waiting for nothing. But if you call them you can withdraw the withdrawal letter..

Just saw this and my heart literally sank to the floor. Your comments were some of the first I read when I found this site and I would excitedly wait for your scans every day.  I’ve been rooting for you for what feels like forever now.  I’m so mad at the USCIS for destroying another relationship. They do security checks at every stage as well as visa pre-processing, this thread might be a good read. On the bright side, the NVC is a lot faster than USCIS so hopefully won't be waiting too long.
