@Naes We received our Noa2 Approval in the mail on Saturday!

If it helps, I called February 16th am and spoke to a representative, she looked it up and since there was an update on the 15th February stating they are working on August 1st applications then technically mine is outside of normal processing. She said she opened a ticket of sorts that would go to an immigration representative requesting an update or for my application to be worked on. She said to expect either email communications or phone communication in 15-30 days. She gave me a reference number.

Im currently in England with my fiancé til the 5th of March so I am hoping to have some sort of correspondence by then so we can celebrate.

I hope I hope I hope...

Yep, that's pretty typical.

If you call back before they get to you, they'll continue to tell you to wait 15-30+ days.

When is your NOA1? We are UK filers as well. My NOA2 came about three weeks after it was 'estimated' to arrive.

Since receiving your NAO2 has it been difficult? Are you in process? Did you do your medical? My fiancé doesn’t know what immunizations he’s had so I am going to call around and try to figure out while I am here.

Can i I bug you about what the process is like since you’re ahead of me??? Please. :) lol

Cool. It should be there soon. Good on you for starting that case. Just breathe - ours only got to me on the 8th. Yours could be there at any time. They also don't update some cases online and just send it through the post. Has the USC signed up for informed delivery? The link is in my signature.

You're welcome to message me, if you'd like!

Yup I have been eyeballing this forum and have been watching the mail delivery daily because one of your previous posts. Hopefully it does come soon. We paid an attorney to help us with this all which I am thinking was prob silly, but oh well. We paid them in full and they are supposed to help us all the way with paperwork even after we are married.

I’m curious... my fiancé is a man and he asked if he could walk to a pub from where we are going to live. Lol. He also thinks he’s going to sit in the garden and sip on a beer.... I live in so cal.... he doesn’t realize it’s going to evaporate before he finishes with the heat. Lol. He’s also from the North... so he only knows the cold. He’s going to be one spoiled brat.

Does your fiance think theres there’s a big difference from the UK and America?

My fiance is probably more American than most Brits that I've met. He's been traveling here for work for years now, and had wanted to move here before we met. He really does enjoy it here - but I live in Texas, and he wants to move to Indiana. IDK.

There are some things that don't sit well with him, like our healthcare system and the political parties (and the political ads on tv, yuck). He's not had many complaints.

We went without an attorney, which was only because we're too stubborn to let other people help. LOL

oh ok!

So do you mean if I look at the calendar more than 5 times I'll be locked out, or reschedule 5 times? :0

Reschedule. The 5 time rule may or may not be consulate specific, I'm not sure.

You can only view the calendar a couple of times a day though or it tells you "You are approaching the maximum number of times you may view this page. Please complete your transaction at this time". Not sure what happens after that and I haven't touched it since. At a certain point, it becomes risky to keep trying to find an earlier time slot as you could lose the one you already have. In Mumbai at least, there aren't even timeslots open until May so it's best to just try once or twice and wait it out.

Ok understood!

I am from Kenya and we have an embassy notorious for slow scheduling.

All the best and thanks for the insight!

We just received a response on our  service request, it doesn’t mean much but I guess at least it looks like they have our file:

“Your case is currently delayed because the required security checks are still pending. We cannot make a decision on your case until we receive the results of these security checks.

We hope this information is helpful to you.”

Hello. How did you get the response?
