I wouldn't panic after December 31. Especially if you are a late July filer as they haven't really started on June yet. And panic is the last thing we should do. I know it's easier said than done. I've definitely let my frustrations get the best of me. At this point, there is nothing we can do to help the process along. It's all in the hands of USCIS.

Ooh... That is a dilemma. At least you have some time to figure it out.

Can you drive from San Francisco to Salt Lake City? That may be the safest option for your dog, although all my dogs used to get sick on car trips. Or maybe stay in SF for a day? The first thing my fiancé and I are doing once we’re all settled, moved in and potentially I have a job is getting a dog!! Can’t wait! Wish we could get one as soon as I land but all the shots and everything are pretty expensive and the last thing we’ll need is more expenses. Btw if anyone knows where we can adopt or buy dogs in NYC please let me know!

I would look for animal shelters. They tend to be cheaper than pet stores or breeders. And they come with their shots.

Just joined July filers (i was following June filers but I posted late June and got NOA1 July 3rd). June filers group has crazy activity but no real ‘news’. Over 198 pages of comments debating the processing times.

I think i’m better in here.

Hoping for NOA2 late Dec early Jan for a move around Easter.

If the best things in life are free, why is a long distance relationship so expensive!?

Hey now, we gotta do something to occupy our time. What news could you expect though? We've been in a black

hole for 5 months.

Well it's not like there will be any news till someone gets a noa2. So basically some chose to wait in blind which is ok if that's less stressful. But then the only news to expect again is a noa2... then no meaning in checking the activities.

those people who are arguing and discussing about the timelines will be the bringer of news in the end. Or again hopefully the noa at our door will be 😊

We received NOA1 on July 20th 2017 and then a week later we booked a wedding venue in Pennsylvania for July 14th 2018. I know many people on VJ recommend that it's not a smart idea to book a wedding venue in case anything goes wrong but we thought a full year would be more than enough time to get the visa approved!! Right now with the slow processing times we're slightly worried about our wedding in July 2018 but hopefully we can continue the positive vibes and we all get some nice January NOA2's :)

I've been pretty good lately not thinking about the wait, but this week I feel a huge urge to get heck on with it. I'm living with my FI in Romania, and once we get approved we'll be traveling back together.

I guess I feel really strange because it's almost Thanksgiving and Christmas season (the Christmas markets open here next week!) and I really miss my family.

My timeline now shows that we should expect a January NOA2. I'm trying to focus on how short of a time that actually is, but I am experiencing some serious "dor" (Romanian word for nostalgic longing) for my family, my hometown, and even stupid touristy stuff that I never did when I lived there (like apple picking). These things will be so much more fun to do with my FI :)

Mailed I-129F from Romania: 06/29/2017

Hey @Naes  Im still trying to figured out with the vpn, it seams that it will be okey by the time... I think we should start at soon as we see the first July approval on the scan...

but now something els,

I was playing around with the app this weekend and I found out something very interesting....

Lok at that:

"On August 14, 2017, we approved your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number WAC1790347648."

that is a case from May 31th... It means that they approved this case in 75 days!!!

what a lucky couple...

It means also that every moment any of us can get approved... Of course we all knew that...

But that!!!.... 75 Days!!!😲😳😳 It feels like someone stabbed me in the back .... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
