03/01/2019 - USCIS Chicago lockbox received case  for AOS/EAD/AP

03/21/2019 - NOA1 received hard copy via post (Notice date 03/14/2019)

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

I guess they can’t blame ppl for marrying while application is processing since this visa is taking forever...

Not at all.  When we started the journey our estimated time to NOA2 was 3 to 5 months.  If we had known it is closer to a year we would have gotten married and filed the CR-1.

That's not true. Like the other person told you, interview are only conducted at the consulate in Rio de Janeiro.

yeah, it really sucks, especially if you live far away from Rio. I think most countries are like that though, where they just have one place that interview are conducted.

Same feeling over here! They approved August 21st cases, why would they do that when there’s early July and all over July still waiting? And June still waiting?! I don’t understand it
