Oh I don't remember. For sure it was e-mail address and phone number. I remember I asked my friend for his address just in case but I don't remember if I used it. You need to know his/her occupation. Website said it needs to be someone with "highly respected" occupation. Like doctor, nurse or manager for example. My friend was my ex co-worker and one of the managers. They never contacted him though.

All done, thanks! I only needed my friend's phone and email, and she's a lawyer so I think we're good with the "highly respected" part.

Also thanks for sharing the 2 copies idea, I ordered one copy to be delivered to me in Brazil and another to be delivered in the US to my fiance, just in case the post messes up.

Now all I need is my NOA2

Congrats! Our attorney got the NOA2 first (the official notice, you will get a copy soon!). Our case status still is not updated on the USCIS website, and we got our NOA2 more than 2 weeks ago. I think we got our copy of the NOA2 4 days after our attorney did.

Hey guys I have a question about i-134 again. This time about question 38 on part 3. I remember reading something about it awhile ago but can't quiet find it.

Anyways, so I am overseas with my fiance (unemployed) and my brother will co-sponsor.

Question 38 on part 3: I intend/do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in Part 2.

So does my brother answer this differently than when I answer it? I thought that we should both answer "I intend" but read here otherwise: https://www.***removed***/visitor-visa/affidavit-of-support-form-134-tips.html

Also my brother has prepared this paragraph for the "I intend". Does it sound good or has he missed something?

I intend to provide all expenses including, but not limited
to his visa expenses, food, shelter, incidental expenses
and necessities upon the beneficiaries arrival to the USA
and until beneficiary is eligible for employent in USA. I
will continue to support beneficiary until him and his
fiancee can cover the cost of the U.S. Department of Health
and Human Servicas "Poverty Guidelines" together.
At which point him and his fiance will split the cost of
    room and board.

Thank you. Couple more questions if it's ok. This is about when I feel out the i-134 (not my brother)

When it asks for my physical address. I have been in Romania with my fiance since June of 2017 as a temporary resident with a temporary permit that expires on August 2018. Initially I filed i-129f with my overseas address but they made an error and I needed to put an address change. Unfortunately after alot of complications and the address change online not accepting a non-usa address my representative at the senate told me to leave the address as is, my usa address. So on i-134 should I put my USA address  to match the address USCIS has? Or do I put my overseas address where I am now?

Question 26 on part 3:

I have submitted a visa petition(s) to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services on behalf of the following persons. (If none, write "none" in theh space for name below.)

Shall I put none or my fiance's information?

again question 38 on part 3:

The I intend or do not intend question. So I'll mark intend... but since I'm unemployed atm, does anyone know what I need to write here?

Also congratulations to all Julies who have been getting approved. I am so happy for each and every one of your approvals. :) I'm an early August 3 but I really feel that this is my home instead since I kept up with you guys.  I have been away to keep up with August since they hit the month but I feel more comfy and cozy here... so if it's ok.. will you have me back?

Here they say only in brazil we need two certificate but lets see when i get approval i will see.. because i have been to more than 20 countries ...

  • IF the applicant * lived in a different country for more than 12 months or currently resides in another country for more than 6 months AND was 16 years or older at that time, THEN the applicant needs a police certificate from the police authorities of that locality.
  • IF the applicant was arrested for any reason, regardless of how long they lived there AND was any age at that time, THEN the applicant needs a police certificate from the police authorities of that locality.

This is what I found on the US embassy in Rio site.

My fiance just talked to tier2. He said our case is processing which I dont know what exactly means. Does it mean our case is in line and earlier filers are ahead of us? Who knows...😓

Everybody is asking about calling NVC and interview but we are still talking about tier1-2,...😞

If you have already married her USCIS may deny your application and ask you to file for a CR-1.
