 @Chicagosealis right

However this is not a glitch apparently, I am waiting for transfer or such things happening this month to cover up the backlog to tel the truth.

As long we can get this NOA2 asap... Im okey with transfer...

Lets hope that we will have a great news b4 xmas.

The impression that I got from my fiancé is USCIS may be getting alot of call from people who has their case over 150days... 8 months ago the average waiting time for NOA2 at K1 applications was between 38-80 days

I'm hoping they're trying to reduce things back to a 90-120 days timeline. Alll fingers crossed!

I want a fast approval too. It’s just strange that USCIS used to tell people that they were still processing March and now they’ve jumped to September. I thought it had to be a glitch, but they’re telling callers that it’s the correct date. Still sure that July filers will see something starting in December.

I gues has to do also how the question is asked and who is on the phone at the USCIS...

My fiancé called the USCIS today, with the question about my adress changing, (I have a year contract, other wise I need to get another year..) If that would affected our case with delay or so...

She said that would not affect the process at all..

She ask our WACnr and she said very friendly:" Your case looks great sir... no RFE, and we do apologize for the delay (she even said 3x he told me)... I see that your case has being here for 124 days... normally Your case should already have been approved by now... we are working on June files and will do our best to get as much as possible before the eind of the year.."

We were happy to hear that everything is okey... it felt like receiving the NOA2 though LOL

PS: sorry for my english...

Hi!! Can you pls let me know on which number we can ring USCIS? I am the foreign fiancé and had originally included a copy of my passport, but I just did a new one since that one expired April 2018 and I’m wondering if I should send them another “updated” copy. Thanks!

Beneficiary doesn't need to send passport copies. Just take both when you are going to the embassy

Also if you have extra documents, don't send them if there's no rfe. Because al the files are in bulks there's a possibility it will never make it to the right place at the right time(name and address changes though should be updated)

also make your fiancé call them because it's his petition they wouldn't let you any information.

It's seams a good idea to send the new one, because with a expired passport you can stay out of your country.

the number that my finance called was  1-800- 375-5283

good luck.

Posted this in another thread but wanted to copy into July filers :

I rang 1.800.375.5283.  (M-F 8am-6pm are the hours for anyone else looking to ring)

I put in my case number on the phone pad, and then hit the key to speak to a rep.  First she confirmed my case number and then the date they received my I-129F, and that a NOA1 was sent.

She then asked me what the call was for.  I told her that I saw the date on the USCIS site for K-1 visas was now showing as 1 September and that since we sent our app in July I was concerned about missing a notification from them. She also asked me if I had called about this petition before.

She then put me on a brief hold and came back and said that she sees my case is "outside regular processing times" and will send a "request to the local office".  (this part confused me since I didn't think K-1's went to local offices, but I played along...)

She asked me if I was the petitioner or the applicant.  I said petitioner.  Then she asked same question again, I said I am the USC and I sent in the application, so believe that makes me the petitioner.  She also asked if I was applying for my fiancé or spouse.  I said fiancé.  She again asked if I was married.  I said no, but I hope to be next year.  She sort of laughed - not sure how to take that.  Anyway it was weird.  Then she asked if I or my spouse were in the military.   Again strange since I had just told her I was engaged, not married.  I said no.

After that she put me on another hold for a bit longer.  Then she asked me my name, DOB, zip, phone #, email, and mailing address.  She said they would do an update to see why my case was still pending, and I asked when I might hear something as I didn't want to harass them, and she said within 30 days.

She was polite but straight forward.

I asked if there was anything else I needed to do and she said no.

So we shall see what happens.  Fingers crossed there is no problem with the application.  I'm a nervous wreck at the moment.

So it was just an error. This sucks.

Not even slightly surprised.  Their entire operation very much seems like a "right hand doesn't know what the left is doing" kind of thing, and probably the flood of calls they received as a result of that error (as indicated by May forum activity) tipped them off that maaaaaaybe they oughta fix the page.

I stand by my supposition that it was some derp intern!

That is good, I saw on your timeline that your noa1 is from 07/27.

So that makes my 07/07 also expired.. my fiancé called today again and the person on the phone just told him, just wait and any further question from my fiancé was a very big No...

I think the people who work on the costumer sevice, just read a script and that is it...

And we are lucky when we get a good one on the line....
