Oh perfect. I was always wondering what a fianceE was.

-_-

silvermonk realized and put it on January topic.. then I remembered I had a screenshot from when I checked our case first time and this was it... like what after years they finally realized?

it was the app not uscis.

I found they changed a very minute detail. Here's a screenshot I took on December:20180214_134938.thumb.jpg.829856ab04c7758cfe920f8a4e2d2af2.jpg

Actually fiancé(e) because fiancé refers to the man, fiancée refers to the woman. So it's kind of like (s)he or object(s), where they put a letter in parenthesis to indicate both fiancè or fiancée works for the statement.

Just a grammatical correction, it seems.

So if it took them this long to realize and correct that error....

hmm explains why we're still waiting...🤔

I know babe. Sighs, they're so disorderly, it's ridiculous for a government organisation of a seemingly great country. They are doing their responsibilities like an inexperienced small local business.

They are skipping cases by the date, and though we are happy for all our fellow Visa applicants whose cases were touched, we are distressed that ours are not being processed yet. They are ruining relationships and if not, then they are putting VJers' lives on hold and refuse to tell us why.

I'm pretty unhappy they bother to change a grammatical error while they are still so behind on cases, but what do I know about what's behind the scenes.

I have one german shepperd .and rule so far i know that the pet should be atleast 4 months old and have ribes and other vaccination done  atleast 1 month ago before flying to us

Also, don't forget to check the specific rules for your airline about pets. Some require additional documentation stating that the pet is okay to travel, is able to be in a pet box for the flight, etc.

By the way they to approve those too?

why did you think they don't? But if they don't show immunity to rabies they'll ask for vaccines.

I'm sorry luv, I was asleep. Think I'm about 7 hours behind you?

I couldn't find anything on accepting titer. The national rules only ask for rabies and that the pet 'looks healthy'. If it doesn't look healthy it will be examined by a vet at your own costs. (How many animals look healthy after an 8 hour flight?) The state rules are different per state.

Quote

Under Indiana law, all dogs, cats and ferrets older than 3 months of age must be vaccinated against the rabies virus. State law allows the use of 1-year and 3-year vaccines according to approved label directions.

This tells me titer is not accepted as it specifically states according to approved label directions.

As far as I know there is no titer test for rabies, at least not a simple 2 minutes one. It needs to be done by bloodtest and there are only a few clinics in Europe that do these kind of tests. There's no rabies in the Netherlands so I never vaccinated my dogs for it.

What is the rule for bringing pets (cats or dogs) into the US?

Here's a link for the federal rules as it changes per country. Don't forget to check your state rules and airliner rules too.

http://www.aphis.usda.gov/aphis/pet-travel/bring-pet-into-the-united-states

EDIT: Don't forget the state you have your POE and/or travel through too! Almost forgot that. I'm going to Indiana but will fly to Chicago so my dogs need to be up with Illinois state law too.
