Hi everyone... just an update on the NOA2.

 

Today we received the NOA2 hard copy and the notice date was 02/07/2018, though the online status received on 2/9 said it was approved on 2/8.

 

 

Thank you all for your insights... now it's time for NVC

I am a july 31 filer. How are aug filers getting approvals already?! Two cases have been approved after me... URHHHHGGH

It will come I felt the same way. It's so maddening.

No not done that yet! I’m going to the GP tomorrow anyway so I’m going to get my jabs booked! What about your fiancé? Has he? 

 

Btw I’ve decided to go for it. I have a councillor who I’ve been speaking to. She said most people regret chances not taken than those did. If things dont work out then they won’t. Anything can happen to anyone . I’m just going to live for the now and make decisions in the future for the ‘nows’ then! Thanks for speaking to me you’re awesome xo

(General comment: I personally have never called USCIS, so I have no means of comparison, but I have to say, even when NVC people are giving me bad news, they are ridiculously friendly and polite.  Makes the "sorry, we don't have your case yet" easier to bear!)

I know, the bloke I just spoke to was so friendly, even though he was telling me they don't have my case yet.  Said congratulation as well a couple of times. 
Fingers crossed it will be there soon for all of us.

Hello Everyone!!

Had a very productive day today told myself i wouldn't stress about a thing! If ever i felt any frustration to take long slowwwww deep breaths. Came home from a day of walking around NYC to get materials for my leather bag brand. Came home, checked the mail was bummed to see i had received no mail, but was okay with it. Got on my computer after not checking Visa Journey and cased status all weekend to again, yes reduce stress. So then, I checked my case status and it read APPROVED AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Lawd a mercy!! July 18th NOA1 Updated NOA2 Only Feb 12th!

K-1 visas don't have priority dates. I've heard some people putting either their NOA1 or NOA2 dates on there (I forgot, but it doesn't really matter which, 'cause they'll know that K-1 doesn't truly have a priority date).

Called NVC today, following the instructions I found in this thread. They gave me my NVC case number and an invoice ID number. The guy said that I would need both. He also told me that my case was still at NVC and not ready for interview yet. I went to the CEAC website to put in my NVC number and it confirmed what he said -- my status is  "At NVC". 

I also called NVC today, and received my NVC case number, invoice ID number, and a beneficiary id number.  Not sure what all of those are, but I got them written down.  On the CEAC site, mine also says "At NVC".  My NOA2 was 1/31.

Hi Julies ! At the airport leaving the US sad because we have no visa news. Hope it will be any time now. 

Anyone been doing any scans lately? I know loads of people posted they got approved, but I haven’t yet, and I’m wondering how much movement there is! Thanks and congrats to the approved ones

@JSCGPV is still doing them. Maybe he was busy for the midday  

 

its just a bit more to go! Hang in there (I hate leaving US!! Everytime I feel like screaming "whyyyyyy???")

I did the midday from work, but didn't get home until 8ish to go through it. So as late as it is I figured I would just post the full day since it's getting close to doing that. 

If anyone wonders there was movement on the midday scan. 40 cases, 39 were RFE's and 1 was a name change or something meaningless.

 

Oh and @Naes midday is on the G-Drive if you want to look at it.

August also only showed only rfes till midday scan and started getting approvals after noon  hope its same for July! And they're not hiding your noa2s in the mail!
