Me second K-1 for the same person, waiting over 4 years as well..

The positive side of this is that I have become a very patient person overall :)

I definitely feel ya both. We met in August 2014 with lots of difficulties to get to the point of filing. Although only on day 202 it's been 1 year, 27 days,11 hours, and 20 minutes since we have last held each other in our arms. I'm so over the distance and have months to go yet.

This is dreadful! I would have such a hard time being away that long. :(

@Cheaterann

Yeh, it stinks. When I filed I thought we would be together by Christmas not 4th of July the following year. Have to save vacation days though, because I want to be there for interview and then to fly back with her, so no choice but to wait, now.

We are both patient people though, but it still stinks. Anyway, this year will be the year and I believe `we will be together when we are supposed to be together and not a moment earlier or later.:D

Question guys, My fiance has only been working for a year, because he just graduated, I read online that he only needs to submit his most recent tax return and to write a letter explaining why... That just sounds wrong.  If he only has one year of taxes, but has enough income. Is there anything to be done?

Get the employment letter show the income and last year's of tax. It looks good to me :) your case doesn't show instability it shows he was a student. They are more interested in the current situation.
