I'm following the U.S. embassy in Canada's instructions. Basically once we have our case number from the NVC and your local embassy received your case, you can send the embassy packet 3 to later receive packet 4, and book a medical exam/interview date.

Finally after 6mos and 7 days.. we got the approval notice.. noa2.. 192days OF waiting.. 😍😍😍

I got nervous once we reached the 200 days without the NOA2...tomorrow it'll be 220 days and it feels like..."alright USCIS, Let’s play: 'Who Can Be Quiet The Longest.' " 

I bet I'm going to lose... LOL

Coffee... Coffee....Coffee while vj... more coffee... act like working while vj.... vj.....coffee...vj while talking to fiance...vj......scan....vj......scan while watching things while vj... (I might as well actually change my physical address to vj)

 

by the way I even heard some mails doesn't even show on informed delivery so add "ask fiancee to check mailbox 5 times" somewhere in there

Is it weird that I think I would be like that too?

 

Like I know I have to wait for NVC and then for their message to us and then for the embassy packet... So I'm like as I will wait after this anyways I'll see it when I see it :D

That's what worries me, too. Half the time I get someone else's mail and I know more than a few times my mail was at my neighbors. If they only send it too me by mail then there's a chance I may never see it.

There are lots of NOA2s coming in mail without an update on case tracker.

All those dates with no movement always brings up noa2 dated with them a few days or a week later! We also saw February 6 noa this weekend which was the day with no movement at all!

Oh wow, I didn’t realize the 6th was the day everyone was super bummed! That’s is actually good news. Even if there is no movement online, they obviously must have sent some acceptance letters!

Hi... My case says it's ready, but when I try to schedule my appointment says it's not available for an appointment.. Why is it? Has something happened or should I just wait? thanks!!! :)

It could be you need to send them the DS-160 first or that the embassy/nvc schedules your appointment themselves. I would send the embassy an email and maybe call NVC tomorrow and ask.

09/04/2018: Packet 3 (received after sending them an email inquiring about the Packet)

09/18/2018: Interview, AP 

10/2/2018: Out of AP, Visa Issued

10/26/2018: Civil Marriage Ceremony

12/29/2018: Wedding Ceremony 

AOS Timeline

11/16/2018: Filed for AOS at Hialeah, Fl office

11/20/2018: Fingerprint Fee Received

4/25/2019: Interview Ready to Be Scheduled for I-485

I hear you... 

the good thing about Informed delivery app from USPS is that if you see a picture of the mail that you gonna get that day and it isn't delivered to you... you can send a feedback and say that you did not received the mail...
