Hi all! If the processing time is already past our date (July 18th), at what point do I start getting worried/trying to call? I'm so tired of seeing 'Your case was received'!

you see tha list above?

All all those people are waiting together with you :)

unless the processing times that shows in the website goes further than your date, you don't need to worry. Processing time did not last your date, vj processing times are not an official list t is an estimate. It doesn't mean everyone before that got their approvals. You need uscis website to pass your processing times.Because even if you do they won't do much about it. There are 10 people waiting just at july 3.

They pass your processing date and they go back and do it again as an overall of the month. This is how it  happens everytime.

Wooo woo...  I've read about fast NOA2 to NVC here on the board recenctly and just called.  Case number assigned!  6 days from date received to case number assigned.

I used this:  Many have seen it but if you are waiting on NVC it's very useful and was today for me.

From: https://sites.google.com/view/post-noa2/home

Now, you will have one of a few answers to you query. At NVC, In Transit, Arrived, or Ready. "Ready" is the magic word. That means that not only is your case at the Embassy, but it is already entered into the system. After paying your visa fee, you can submit your DS-160 and schedule your interview!!!

I guess now we must wait for it to flip from "At NVC" to "in transit" then to "arrived" then to "ready," and at that point we can schedule medical--is that correct.

The address above tells us, after receiving our case number to go to: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

change to "immigrant visa" enter case number and this is what I see:

Immigrant Visa Case Number: MNL2018xxxxxx

Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents. Once NVC has received all the required items, they will let you know if anything is missing or incomplete. You can also find these instructions online at http://nvc.state.gov (English) and http://nvc.state.gov/espanol (Spanish). You will find contact information for NVC at http://nvc.state.gov/ask

Do I ignore this and simply wait for "ready" then get info from Manila and schedule medical?

I think all that stuff is for other than K1--is that correct.

Six days!  I was expecting 56 days.  It's critical for us as I'm unemployed and my unemployment will end near the end of March.  Unemployment income IS accepted as income by USCIS but once it ends it may be a different story.

How long does it usually take to go from "AT NVC" to "Ready" in Manila--anyone know?

It was so depressing expecting NOA2 around Dec 15th and then not receiving it till January 31, a full 6 week worse than expected so it's no nice to expect it to take 50+ days to go from NOA2 to NVC.  Our case was assigned on 2/6 and is the 36th case that NVC assigned that day since it ends in 036.  Way to go NVC!  I shall instruct Don to give them a raise--forthwith.

I'm wondering the same! I received an email last night from NVC saying that my petition has been sent to London. I'm not sure whether you do the Form DS-160 now or wait till the NVC status goes to 'Ready'? Anyone know?

So, my question about "Where does the NOA2 get mailed?!!" was answered today in my informed delivery.

It went to my parents' house in GA. We may still get a separate one mailed to us in Romania, we'll see in a few weeks lol

Oddly enough, it looks like the date on the envelope is February 3rd, but the app was updated to approved on February 5th.

New mystery?!?! :huh2:

Congratulations!

Did you have your parents address as your mailing address, or..?

My mailing address is here in China, and, although I'm a long way out, I'm worried it might get lost in the mail.

I put my parents' house as the mailing address (i.e. where it says "In care of" in Part 1, 8a), but I put my physical address in Romania (9a).

I was also worried mine would get lost in the mail because Romania, and the day we got approved I kind of got on the live chat and whined to some poor Tier 1 support person about how I was worried we wouldn't get the letter. I don't know if it helped things or not.

Yeah, I mean, do you think they take cases home and work on them during the weekend? Or maybe it was a busy day and they forgot to check off ONE BOX or something in their database?
