Hiya guys, me and my Fiancé are a bit confused about the RFE we recieved for the photos it states this:

 

But it says within 30 days of your petition? Does it mean our original one of the rfe? My brain is scrambled.

The petition. The date you filed it.

 

If she needs help finding a place to get the photo taken, I know they do exist in the UK. @vocaledge will likely have a better idea than I do.

 

What she can do, after that, is have them email the photos to her. She can send them to you, you can go to Walgreens/CVS/whatever, have them printed on US passport photo paper and BAM. You just need yours done and you're good to go.

I’m the beneficiary, I was just confused if it meant we needed to find photos from like 6 months to go or if she can use new ones. They word everything so strangely.

It is, they're tricky there at USCIS.

 

Did they request that you both submit the pictures, or just her? If they didn't specify, I would be crazy enough to send in new ones of both of you. If not, do what they ask, bam. Off they go.

 

Also, please send Mars bars. <3

She’s just literally gone and got them done in the format they asked for. 2x2, chin in the right place and all that stuff. And they only specified hers.

 I really thought they meant when will filed out petition and I was running around like crazy trying to find old photos but apparently it’s from the RFE date 😂😂

I am also really excited for both of you that you're got the RFE. I'm sure it felt like bad luck but they touched your case! You're on your way!

Of course! 

 

I am too, I mean it sucks but it could have been a lot worse for us. I guess it means that’s the only thing they found wrong. 

 

I am in london! And aw, is this way your fiancé is? 

(I miss America, tbh)

I haven't been! We will get there eventually. There's nothing holding us back except for someone to flip the case to approved - one day!

He's in Cambridge. I've been to London, but only the touristy parts. We also went to Warner Bros. which was AMAZING. King's Cross was amazing. Everything just overwhelmed me, I can't wait to go back. Are you moving to Pennsylvania?

They are not updating most approvals online. I think there is about 5-600 that are not updated so far in July.
