hey guys, i was wondering if i could get some advice. my NOA1 was 28th July. my fiancé and i are thinking of getting plane tickets for me to go home (to U.S. via Visa Waiver) from 9th March to 27th March.

from recent trends, it takes about 8 to 10 days from NOA2 to receive a new case number for the consulate and many many days until the interview in Singapore.

opinions? bad idea? good idea?

I think as long as you are ok with the possibility of getting your visa a little later no problem..

But you also need to arrange medical etc. and get the papers from Singapore embassy (or however they do there) just keep those in mind.

Hi Guys,

My name is James i am new to this forum, i have just discovered that there is a section for july 2017 I-129F filers (cant believe i did not get onto this sooner!!)

I am an Australian male with a fiancè and son in Wisconsin patiently awaiting my arrival.

The whole visa situation is a bit of a grey area for me, so ill try my best.

We filed our I-129F in early July 2017 and our case was received on July 17 by USCIS.

We have not heard anything since then. Are there many people in our situation? has anyone been approved yet?

Also how much longer can we expect to wait until i can be in America with my family?(just so we can mentally prepare ourselves) we were hoping to be together by now another two months will be extremely hard on us, as i imagine it would be on anyone else waiting for approval.

many thanks!!!

James.

Let's keep the hope alive...

I thought the same on thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years eve/day, my fiancé's birthday... now I have Valentines day and my birthday to look forward for this surprise NOA2... But then dates a pretty much over for me untill Easter and 14th of July... 😂😂😂 I can't really count with Mothers day, becauae my daughter is 19 and she is not on The K1 visa... So if I don't get my Special day surprise-NOA2... I might be looking for repeting the list al over again...🤣🤣🤣
