Does anyone have cold feet?

I thought I did, but it was just fear that it would not work out and I would lose having this wonderful person in my life.  Marriages often don't work out, but friendships are forever.  I want to be with this person forever.  I guess we have to be married to live in the same country.  I never want to be with anyone else ever.  I'm afraid of messing things up.  I'm afraid I will drive him crazy.  I'm afraid he will hate it here.  He has sort of been a bestie even for all those years we were not in each others lives.  It was not by choice.  I don't want us to ever be away by choice (or not).  I don't know if that is cold feet.  Maybe.

It SUCKS.

I want to be really angry but like, you know, I've been here with June/July filers for so long that I can't stop but genuinely being excited for them. I'd hope that they'd be excited for me. I think that it's just draining. This process, and then the NVC, then the rest. After that, we're going to move. He can't work for a while. I'm going to have to budget - no more gross fast food, no more dog daycare.

I'm an angry little elf most of the time. I've re-installed video games that I swore off. I threw out a half eaten thing of oreos on Monday because I've gained like 15 pounds.

Oh, and when the nightly scan wraps up and there's nothing? Yeah.

Glee

I bet they were at work.  Maybe they were so hard at work they did not have time to update.  Maybe all the work went into the mail.  They have to be doing something. Extra weight is good.  It will be fun to take walks and do active things together and cook healthy new things.  There will probably be so many things to do when he gets here that it will come off in a flash.  And, undoubtedly, he will be here soon....  Hang in there.  I know that's easy for me to say.  I'm an August 8th.  But, I'm sure that I will have many more days of waiting too.  I hope not, but that's what happens to most of us.  For all the times you have cheered people up, I hope you accept that you are in my thoughts today...

Hey, I am so not worried. I'm doing other stuff, you know? Your time is coming, too! Get your documents together! Clean out your closet. That sweater you haven't worn since 2014? Donate it. Make some room, chica! Life is about to get a little more crowded.

Also, thank you for your kind words, and for thinking of me. I felt a little guilty sharing my gripes, but I don't feel TOO bad now.

@Jaquelly @Canaderp It's totally human to feel the way you're felling... I bet we are all do... I know I do... with me, it's so strong that I get quiet... I just don't wanna talk about it...I think it's brave of you guys to spit it out... being sad, angry and all the other 101 feelings that we are experiencing right now, shows how much our love is true for the one on the other side of the planet...

I know people are waiting much longer then we are, and I feel for them... and hope also they get their approvals as quick as possible... but it doesn't take way our sadness...

It's easy said than done, but hang in there...

One year from now we'll all be laughing and happy with our partners...

Lots of love to all of you, who are still waiting... 💕💕💕💕

Having a frustrating mental day. Feels like we're so close but so far. Fearing that we're an anomaly.

I wouldn’t worry yet, we’re more than a month ahead of you and nothing! We have our good days and bad days with all this waiting

Precisely why I'm worried haha. If I knew it was 7 more days, for example, I could sit tight.
