Hey guys,i have a question,i noticed that the case statues is 'case was received' for all of you who didnt receive  NOA2 yet,but only mine is 'document was mailed' .I'm wondering if everything is working well with my case.oh and before my fiance received NOA1 the status showed'case was received' and after we got NOA1. It changed to 'document was mailed' and my fiance also changed the address but it's happened after that.

The attached photo is the first and the only letter we received so far,i believe is a NOA1 right?pls tell me it is. and the date i circled with blue is the date we filed right? which means i should pay attention to the processing time is on 25th July right?

 im a totally newbie here,im sorry if my questions are so silly,i would be so grateful if you could help me out about those. Thank you so so much.i wish i could find this place earlier so i could knowthere are a bunch of amazing people are working together with me.:D

Don't worry you're not the only one.

*you may want to delete that picture it has too much personal info on it

And yes that's your noa1 date

@joelcassie

your noa1 is july 25

it says document was mailed cause as you can see on that page it says re-mailed.

so either it didn't reach you or something that they had to send the same notice twice. That's why it says document was mailed.

So you believe there are 2500 cases still waiting in January, 3000 in February and another 2500 in march?

i believe another 2500 in April? Maybe a 800 in May... 1500 in June...

system is not updated, it's not even being optimistic anymore... (it used to be being optimistic in may...now it's just reality)

Oh I'm not sure 1 has to do with the other. Just saying it could've been a slow or selective work day ;)

There's never 1 approval only day. If it's looking that slow always add at least a 30 to it (this being pessimistic)

Weve already seen the mails coming from last 2 weeks days like this. If there was only 1 approval today, and let's say there were at least 10 days like this with only 1 or no approval. Then guys hold on to your seats, with their average of 50-60 approvals per day we all will be here at least for another 50 business day!

First off let me get this out of the way because it's the internet: I'm not trying to be combative. You're a hero to me on here and I'm here to support everyone so take my words lightly :)

As for your points, it could very well be. With that said, I would tend to believe mailed approvals came from the day before so they may not account for same-day approvals.

For example: I highly doubt that USCIS is mailing out dozens of approvals for the USPS scan times (which tend to be same day pre-delivery). So, then in turn, they'd probably need to be sent for mail at least the night before, if not earlier due to requiring pick up and deliver (and scanning).

So while perhaps unlikely to you, I do tend to believe they have slower/more specified work days. I hope not and I hope my/others' cases are all approved by tomorrow AM.. but I find it unlikely for me :).

I'm not combating!

I thought we were doing sarcasm back and forth... that's why I even wrote the joke in between...

But if we're getting on that;

none of those approvals that comes in mail is from that date, that's why everyone actually says here which date is noa2 reached them is dated. And if you follow those date, there is a pattern on those dates being the dates with less approvals. I've never said anything about which day people get it. I don't even know why would someone even consider that? It takes 4-10 days for those mail to reach people they don't go in a night.

also uscis puts updates not by a case by case basis by the adjudicator, but by a different level security contractor. Hence not all cases gets updates (also doesn't really matter if they do)

now if when we say say something we cannot refer to an experience and an occurring than let's not talk about these at all. Cause why bother if nothing is ever same.

Like I said, the internet :P

Either way, I wish I shared your optimism. I feel like the process is driving me towards being a cynical hermit more and more each day haha
