@marinapoli sounds better than what my fiance is doing. He keeps talking about preparing himself psychologically. That keeps making think that he doesn't really want to move to the US. He doesn't mean it that way, but it sure feels that way. He won't even do research about what forms or documents he will need for the interview. He keeps saying he will worry about it when we get our NOA2. It's really starting to bug me.

Hey, I am a planner and not everyone is like that! It is indeed early to start looking into all of this and we should still have at least one month from the time the NOA2 arrives untill our interview, per what I have asked a Brazilian May filer. So just be patient! My fiance took 15 days just to go and post our package that was all ready to go... it's all about patience.

I've been doing really well with patience into just recently. I know that we probably won't hear anything until after the first of the year. As a planet, I have to constantly be doing something to feel like I am making progress and not just waiting. Even if it is only doing research of what we will need for the interview.

Unfortunately Brazil is pretty expensive

Oh, I know. That is the main reason we haven't been together in person since May.

How do you do a estimation

if you fill out all of your information on the timeline which is available here on VJ, you will get your predicted date for NOA2. I don't think it's 100% accurate but it's a really good guide :)

Don't believe 100% in your timeline estimation. Mine has moved back at least a month since I first joined VJ. It's just there to give us an idea of when they could be approved.

That is an understatement!  Dont even believe 10%.  It will move...A LOT!  Ours started at September 6 and now it is at November 16.  It is a guideline buy it is a moving target.

Haha, true. And it all depends on if other VJ members update their timeline.

I haven't even checked mine recently. I get a better idea from shoegum's scans.

yeah and that's actually even worse, cos the more it gets pushed back, the more you realize it's another extra long wait!

i only joined about 45 days ago and mine got pushed back for a full entire month!

since i am september filer, i don't even want to picture how much longer my push back will be in the next 2 months!

N-400: 12/05/2023 (confirmed fingerprints are re-used)

Interview scheduled for: 05/09/2024
