We called the USCIS customer service number.  I believe it's on Naes' signature.  You have to listen to their spiel and then ask if you can speak to someone who knows if the background check has been completed or if your case has been assigned yet.  You'll probably want to buy a skype account so you can have a US phone number for them to call you back on.

So they skipped July 31st, my date.  When I read that I was so shocked that I started laughing, I can't stop laughing at it. 

 

It's okay to not react okay to this, let's just be hopeful that our time to be approved will come soon (Even if I have not seen too much activity today in July).

Hey,  new here. I'm a July 17th filer and just got my approval on the APP today, but I have a friend who applied same day and got her approval via mail, but no update online. Any ideas as to why this is?

it is normal most approvals don't get online updates anymore. Doesn't mean anything so tell your friend to also enjoy her noa2!
