This story needs to be definitely turned into a movie! With agents raiding the CSC to find your case file!

The old delay was USCIS not sending the files to NVC.  NVC has always been rock stars.  Now USCIS seems to be sending the files quicker.

The online tracker still shows 68 untouched June 6 filers with 105 approvals and 52 RFEs.  That is right now!  We do realize that the numbers are based solely from online updates and many petitions are approved without any updates.

June 6 is a strange day.  Already 244 days in and maybe 2 dozen or more files untouched while July petitions are approved online.

Bloody hell.

Apparently I needed to put my arrests on the petition. But my lawyer did not state this when he filled out our form. I am honestly livid guys because it specifically states have you ever been arrested and I told him I have.

And it will come up on the background check as I received a reprimand.

And teeth.

We are now outside of "normal processing times".  I've contacted my congressman (twice), called USCIS Tier I dozens of times, called USCIS Tier II and had Tier II call backs 6 times.  I have 3 active inquiries.  My congressman will file another on February 12 if we dont hear anything.  The only information I've seen so far is that we have not yet been assigned to an adjudicator.  Neither of us has a record and I already have security clearances at the Federal and State level for consulting work I do.

Oh my. Im sorry to hear that. We feel your pain. I will include you guys in my prayer . Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

I think it's only the petitioner that fills that part. They do not have access to ours over here. We need to fill out the police check and we would put it on there. You can look at the form on the website www.acro.police.uk

I’m not too sure and very confused. I know it asks on the DS form, but my lawyer did not mention this part that needed to be filled out.

Anyone know?

(Also thank you)

Hi John, I think I would be asking your congressman to check that the CIS actually have your file, it is stating to sound like they have lost a few somewhere, not quite the same but here in the UK I never send anything to our "DMV" without it being registered mail as they have a habit of misplacing things.

They say they have the file.  It is just "pending" assignment to an adjudicator.

Noa2 on January 24...

Then NVC received it February 1st?!

You guys said it would take like 50 days. Did we get insanely lucky?

Did you call them or get a letter or was it updated online? I know people say to call two weeks after NOA2 but the NOA2 letter states to wait 30 days. Do most people just ignore this rule?
