Always positive thoughts that's how we came so far and somehow still sane...

its like personality building!!!

I like the "somehow still sane" part, otherwise we could just have lose it it all..  Heheh. I just tell my partner "how bad do we want this?".... Then be patient...nothing is ever easy for something worth having...after all these chaos, it's one big BBQ party and cocktails and beer!! Im excited for this weeks mails and scans! I have strong faith in USCIS this week... 😂😂😂😂

I sometimes find myself thinking how not to reply sarcasticly when they ask about my mental status:

in my mind it goes as "you mean before or after this process?"

I am an October filer and seeing June and July cases without NOA2 yet has been really stressing me. Although I've fixed my mind on the possibility of Sept POE for me , still I come here lurking everyday hoping things really improve (I still hope for a June-July POE though :)  ). @Naes updates make me feel sane coz at least it gives me factual information.

Just wanna share something that happened to me last week. I was asking another topic from VJ how to go about the medical and interview to make sure I'm prepared and there will be no additional bumps and delays after this long wait.  I feel that I was actually kind of ready until I got a TB scare!!!! Gosh, a family member who lives with us just got positive!!! My mind was blown, I know its treatable but if  I have it too,  my POE will definitely extend to , worst-case-scenario-December!!! :(

Had my check up the other day, XRAY and all the needed confirmation, glad I came out negative!!! lolzzzzz. I am not coming home until his two-week treatment is done to be sure.

So now, I wont stress anymore. I'd still pray for the process to improve and hope that after this looooong wait everything will be easy for all of us....

God bless everyone!!!

P.S. Wish I could follow some of my favorites here somewhere (IG,etc lol) so I could see you with your lovies and see your wedding pic ;)

It’s worrying us that we may have clicked no on the ESTA because we genuinely thought it meant conviction and any thing I had been arrested for or reprimanded for was meant to have been wiped. However I haven’t resturned to the us in two years and my ESTA is no longer anywhere as of I know.

All I know is clicking no wasn’t a good idea but I genuinely did think everything was wiped and it meant conviction, not arrest.

I have the same, I freaked out.

I have a caution (i threw a pint over someone - don't ask) I also put no on the esta because if you go back and read it it says have you ever been arrested or convicted in a crime that caused serious damage or bodily harm. Which I didn't that's why I ticked no.

On the police check it asks about police records, I'm gonna go to get my statement from the police as evidence.

Cautions come off for CRB checks but will forever stay on record.

I hope it stays like this! I am an August filer, i was expecting POE for June latest July . We are from Venezuela, do you think this could be possible? if We get our NOA2 around March 16-20 as vj timelline states?

@Jesus It really does look like things are speeding up.  I was absolutely blown away by how fast it went after NOA2 but it could differ by embassy.  I don't know much about your embassy but I bet you can find some information on it if you go the portals section on this website.  At this stage, if I were to make a wild guess, I think June or July would be possible for you.  We are looking at an April POE at this stage.  I wouldn't be too shocked if they started doing August approvals in as little as a couple weeks.  If the NVC process goes back to normal it could take as little as 10 days to get your case # and from there it's easy flowing.  Just make sure you've got all your documents and things ready and research what you need for after NOA2 so you are prepared to get everything together.

no it doesn't update in most cases ( I have for example shoegums and it still look received)

Medical depends on the embassy. In japan we need a paper from the embassy to take the exam but we can book. However can't do t if the paper doesn't reach us in time.
