That is always a possibility. I can’t even guess when our interview may be. 

 

I was thinking last night...would we have done this if we knew it would be a year long wait. I know I would. The stress isn’t the wait. It is the unknown. If we would have known it was going to be a year we would be fine, or at least less stressed. Since this won’t actually be a year we should be happy. Most of us will be with our loved ones 8 to 10 months after filing. We should be happy and getting ready to celebrate our love.

Hello guys! Hope you all get the approvals you deserve today.

 

i have another long winded question for you all.

 

basically, I have been waiting to quit my job since we started the process because of many things (harassment by a fellow employee) I have gone to my manager and nothing has been done about it and it’s got to the point where I can no longer force myself to work there.

 

will this be a problem, if I left or quit for the visa? 

I have worked there for four years and have had a steady income and savings.

 

do you think this would be a red flag? Or does it not matter?

If you are the beneficiary it is not important they care for the sponsor who is the us citizen. Most people quit their jobs by then, I will too.

Does anyone know an app that I the beneficiary can call NVC in the US for free...?

I can't  afford to pay €1,- a min... ( I can save the money to go shop!)

Sorry, I don't. Maybe if Google Voice is available in your country - sometimes they offer reasonable rates, but not free.

Or even if they had a live update tracker for every step the file goes through. Something like Domino's Pizza Tracker but for USCIS cases....
