Ok, I have to admit I'm a patient person, but I have never wanted to have a weekend to get over as much as I want this one to get over. I guess this is starting to affect me now. Come on USCIS.

I kinda feel like, eventually, it gets to us all in the end.

It sure does and my fiance is getting depressed and it's not helping our relationship. She has had a hard life as it is and feels like nothing ever goes her way. Hard for her to stay positive which starts to affect me.

There are lots of NOA2s coming in mail without an update on case tracker.

I agree.  As more and more Julies get approved, I get more and more anxious for our approval.  Luckily for me, my fiance is very patient, although I think she is starting to get anxious also.

Man I completely understand.  Tiger and I were in the same boat -- and, I'll admit, even with NOA2 in hand, a tiny little voice at the back of my mind that I can't quite kill keeps whispering, "You know some huge roadblock is coming your way, right?  You know there's no way this is all going to work out, right?"  And it's really hard to battle that.

Wish I had some advice for you or something, but I think @John & Rose kinda nails it with the advice that he posts, about being gentle and patient with each other, remember why we're doing this, etc.

(This is going to sound terrible but if you ever want to put your own situation into perspective, go and lurk in the January filers forum.  For however awful I felt about how long Tiger and I have been separated, at least we hadn't just filed...and godspeed to those poor souls!)

I completely understand the process and I am fine with the wait, but she  can't seem to grasp it. Oh well, no worries it will happen when it happens. We have been through worse. I guess I just feel bad for her and have no control to help. Plus due to my job I haven't seen her for a year and that doesn't help.

Hello everyone! On February 3rd my fiance and I received our NOA2! It was dated 26-1-18. I'm so excited 😍 (We received informed delivery and the letter, but no email/text and the app and website have not been updated yet.)

NOA1 July 29th, 2017

NOA2 January 26th, 2018

What should we do now to prepare for our interview?? I live in Cambodia with my fiancé. We are trying to decide if I should attend the interview with him or not?? And while we are waiting for our NVC case number what documents should we start preparing in advance??

Thank you guys and best wishes to all of you!! I hope that you all get good news soon! ❤️

Fill out your I-134 and DS -160 forms. Gather any additional evidence of an ongoing relationship to take to interview. If you can go to interview that's great, because it won't hurt anything, and help support that  you are serious about being married. If you can't go, don't sweat it, because a lot of people can't go.

While my fiance is patient and willing to wait, she is not very optimistic that we will be approved.  No specific reason, other than she too has had a difficult life.  She grew up in Russia and Belarus.  After our last visit together in October, she said that she did not want to meet again in-person until our K1 visa was approved.  She said it hurts too bad to say goodbye after each visit.  I am the opposite.  I would say goodbye over and over, if it meant that I could spend a week with her each time.  But hopefully, we are getting closer to being approved.

This....exactly this.....my fiance feels the same way, due to how things have gone most of her life she is struggling with this each day it gets harder for her to imagine anything good will happen. It's so hard when you don't have answers to give to back up your feelings that everything will be ok......Just have to try your hardest to keep reassuring them over and over.

I agree completely.
