Yeah, I'm from one "those" places, too - but I can't stand camo :( I also don't like men in cargo shorts, but then again what can you do?

I have to smile at them in there camo and then have to wear something orange while hunting to be stay legal...........

The one story I tell here in the UK (where gun laws are very, very strict it is almost impossible to have a gun).  is a gun shop we go to in Medford WI where there are no bars on the windows it is just like a grocery store really and the only think they have locked up are the cigarettes and liqueur and no one thinks there is anything odd about it

OMG!

I just checked our case status on uscis.gov and it says we got approved on February 2!!!!! I'm so happy and I can't wait to tell my fiancée :D

The thing is, we don't know what our NOA1 notice date was because they never send us the hard copy in the mail (I searched the forum and people said as long as you have the case number, you don't need the hard copy). But online it used to say "Your case was received on July 27, 2017" and I got the e-mail with my case number and such on July 31, 2017.

Now I have a couple questions though, hope you guys can help me:

1. My fiancée is currently moving, and yesterday (the same day we got approved) we changed her address with USCIS and USPS. Do you think this could cause any problems, or should we get the NOA2 to the new address just fine?

2. I was planning to visit her in the US from February 22nd til March 10th. But I've read that it is not advisable to try to enter the US when you already have the NOA2 because apparently the chances of not being let in are even higher. Is there any truth to this? With how fast things seem to be going now at the NVC, maybe we should just wait for the K1 visa if (very optimistically) I can get the interview by mid-March

Great news........ I am really pleased for you

Congrats!!

1. I would definitely check with uscis as it is too recent.

2. I know people who did that. And you can show that you are going back for interview. But I would just wait for the visa if you can just reschedule the travel plans.

I'm a July 17th filer and I just received my approval letter in the mail today! I got approval online on January 30th (no email or text) but when I look at the approval letter, it states that it was actually approved January 20th!

In conclusion, a lot of you guys could have already been approved weeks ago and don't even know it yet!

Congratulations! 🎊
