Packing? I thought you had moved out of your apartment a few weeks ago to save rent money?  I have somethings in boxes but I don't want to tempt fate by doing anything to soon, it is still a few weeks away from 9/15 ...............if they get to us first time around with no RFE s !!

we are moving in March but moving most of the things Tuesday..because my contract with the company I worked pays for half of the rent till march so I realized moving before that would actually cost me money!

I actually finished everything but 3 luggages and fiancé will take them when he comes in march! Then the couch surfing begins!!!  well ok I'll actually have a bed and a tv and my PS4 but still I call couch surfing!!!

That is going to be interesting for him going though customs with suitcases full of women's things and no woman with him!

true, it is a strange world where it has been ok for women to wear men's clothes for years but if we wear women's it is considered odd....it's the high heels that put me off how can women walk in them!

Interesting article, I also remember reading that boys used to be dressed in pink and girls in blue when they were babies or children.

I still feel I might get laughed at wearing women's clothes in some of the places we go in Wisconsin, it's a place where men are men (or like to think they are) driving big trucks, drinking beer and more guns than they can count......... and wear camo all the time.

He did it quite a few times so far and I also told him especially the time he only had my shoes and bags if people will think he's trying to smuggle to sell...

OMG!

 

I just checked our case status on uscis.gov and it says we got approved on February 2!!!!! I'm so happy and I can't wait to tell my fiancée

 

The thing is, we don't know what our NOA1 notice date was because they never send us the hard copy in the mail (I searched the forum and people said as long as you have the case number, you don't need the hard copy). But online it used to say "Your case was received on July 27, 2017" and I got the e-mail with my case number and such on July 31, 2017.

 

Now I have a couple questions though, hope you guys can help me:

1. My fiancée is currently moving, and yesterday (the same day we got approved) we changed her address with USCIS and USPS. Do you think this could cause any problems, or should we get the NOA2 to the new address just fine?

2. I was planning to visit her in the US from February 22nd til March 10th. But I've read that it is not advisable to try to enter the US when you already have the NOA2 because apparently the chances of not being let in are even higher. Is there any truth to this? With how fast things seem to be going now at the NVC, maybe we should just wait for the K1 visa if (very optimistically) I can get the interview by mid-March
