I don't know about that... but for exemple... In Brazil and in The Netherlands the SSN is an uniek personal number attached with who you are... so it's for life time... you will never get a second one even if you get married or change your name... 

I guess and hope in the US is the same... but maybe you should google that...

I would love to see your guys progress in the US for the next year after enter the US...

maybe I will start a Facebook closed group  for that...

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Yes, he can use the SSN he had before, no need to apply for a new one. I'm in the same situation as I used to live in the US and have a SSN from then.

Yay for us, it's one less thing to do ;)
