I totally agree with you...

what is funny is when I read in other topics on VJ people complaining that their  Green Card is delayed and oh how horrible is life without a green card... 🙄

My first thoughts are:

• You survived this K1process and now you are with your fiancé... that probably now is your husband...🙄

• If you did your paperwork right you have your SSN before you even get married... so you can work... 🙄

• If you want leave the U.S. during your Adjustment of Status processing period, you can apply for the Advance Parole... 🙄

Sooo... why complain about not having a green card??!!!???

Oh I know... you are never satisfied!!

Some of us aren't happy unless we complain!  I would love there to be a delay with the Green Card!!!  That means we are together and married.  Everything after that will be easy.  Rose and I will be together.

I agree !! But I thought it takes months for you to be able to work. My case is a little weird however because my fiancé already has SSN because for the last 3 summers he’s worked at a camp in the USA

Every case is different... but I understood that you need to wait 2 weeks after enter the US then apply for SSN... sometimes you can have in 2 or 3 months..

But trust me you need the 2or 3 months to get use to your new life and environment... and to know the place where you live and things like that...

Yeah, I’m only wondering if the US will have my fiancé keep the SSN he’s had for the past 4 years or give him a new one
