Any. "Approved", "RFE", "Decision notice mailed", etc. I've been seeing more of all.

I want USCIS to get to July already! I think someone in another thread said the applications received for May were in the thousands, yet they’re not averaging a high number of cases processed in comparison.

Anyone else seeing a sudden uptick in notifications on your USCIS app this week? I sure have!

I had until today... I'm hoping it's just poor service on my end...

Well, they have a government holiday on Monday so I'm assuming a lot of people took the day off or got off early, etc. Back when I worked for state government that happened a lot.

Have hope my fellow July filers.  We will get through this.  I am hoping for a November NOA2.  My partner and I are very stressed about our financial situation due to not having an confirmation on how long this will take and I know many of you are very sad to be apart from you loved ones.  Time will go by quickly though and there is still hope that the process will speed up a tad or at least be somewhat reasonable.  We got this.  :jest:

It would be a miracle! I can't imagine how thankful I would be :D

It's already so cold here in Romania. It's snowing on the mountains today. I can't wait for us to be able to move to ATL. I don't know if I'll survive another Romanian winter...

I know some people did it in the March Forums, I wish VJ had a search bar to search through Forum conversations. I think if I recall correctly, their concerns was that their request was not under regular process time and they had many worries and wanted to see if a superior could check their status and push forward the case.

I know that for some couple 'they THINK' this helped them. Their congressman or woman said they requested and inquiry of status or something like that and was able to get information. The couple thought this was the push that got them approved.

I saw another couple who did the same and didn't help at all and congressman said 'they told me you guys were within process time'

Maybe start a new thread on VJ so people can guide you.

Have a great weekend!

-Harold

Maybe I will start a new thread, that would be a great idea!

thank you!

I wouldn’t submit the letter until 90-100 Days, so that it’s no longer “within normal processing time”. Doesn’t hurt to try, right? :)

Wouldn't after 120 days be within normal processing time? I thought it was anywhere between 90-120 days usually.

Hmmm I suppose now it would be normal processing time. Although USCIS states after 90 Days you can call about your case, so I would take that as it should be processed within the 90. 120 Days would be great! Maybe I’ll wait until then just to be safe. Maybe we’ll have them by 120! (Fingers crossed)

120 days would be great, but filers in May are being told, by USCIS, that normal processing time is 5-6 months. So, even if you did call now or speak to a senator, you will probably hear about normal processing time.

Hi there!

I’ve been following this forum for few weeks now, we’re on day 90 from NOA1 expecting  NOA2 sooner than later just like all of you in this site. Keeping myself and Fiancé positive through this tough process though.

I do have a question for those who have a similar situation. I am divorced from my previous spouse, I had an open I-130 case with USCIS while I was married, we got to the point where our case got sent to NVC but I never sent or call them to continue with the case, after a year NVC sent me a letter , saying that if I was interested to continue with this case I needed to contact them. I thought that these cases were automatically closed after certain time.

Now, I’m trying to contact NVC to let them know that I’m no longer married with this guy and I actually sent them my divorce decree along with a withdrawal letter.

You guys think that this case would affect my current I-129f case with my fiancé?

Yes, I have been hanging out in the May forum to see how progress is going there. That's how I knew it was too early for us, July filers, to consider calling. I hope you get your NOA2 soon. This wait isn't easy.

Your inquiry will be rejected with a letter stating you are still within normal processing time.

Common sense should tell you that the more people calling, writing and emailing only takes more time and clogs up the system for those who have more urgent issues. Like I have recommended to others, get the phone app (links are below in my signature box) and install it and forget about looking and calling and emailing omg I am out of breath just saying all the things people are doing. When you go beyond 5 months then you can do the following:

*Email the Ombudsman at cisombudsman@HQ.DHS.GOV

"The Ombudsman provides an impartial and independent perspective to USCIS in an attempt to resolve problems"

Or contact your congress person link is here to determine who that is: https://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm

You and everyone else will get through this, it just depends on how crazy you want to make yourself. You can't hurry the system. It is what it is.
