Ha Ha yeh and it wasn't a big thing, but maybe if you read it then it looks worse. :D

Precisely -- there's miles of difference between "I disagree with you and here's why" and "YOU MORON WHY CAN'T YOU FIGURE THIS OUT #%#$^@%$@#$%@^#$%&#$%^!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" :jest:

No offense was meant at all of course, literally I just disagreed with you and that was the extent of it lol.

Honestly I credit the fact that each of us is suffering along with everyone else, and everyone we talk to on here is someone who's dealing with the exact same awfulness that we are, that these forums are overall so positive when internet message boards are usually a total dumpster fire.

Now I'm intrigued...

I 'm curious too.... are the Visa Waiver (ESTA) countries aproved faster???

Curious:

Are petitions from certain countries approved at a higher pace?

Example:

Canada/UK > Asian Nations?

Not asking out of any underlying prejudice, simply wondering due to the similarities of lifestyle in those nations.

As john said, no country has anything over any country at this step of the process.

however if your name is Mohammed, you can see here maybe similar names and last names that can easily cause a hit in the background check and needs additional background check in need to confirm you are not connected. But this also can go for a name like John, or Jane or anything that may have lots of similarities in the area you were born etc.

this causes background checks to take a while longer from what we understand.

Hi guys, I'm new to this site. I filed for our K-1 in July with a receipt notice of July 24th. Still haven't heard anything. So glad I found a community like this, hoping it might ease the anxiety of waiting even if only a little. My fiance is in Turkey and the politics between Turkey and the US have been far from pleasant recently, really hoping that doesn't affect our application.

Don't worry nothing affects Turkey or any country for that matter specifically at this part of the process. It is also too early to worry yet ;)

july 24 is seen though, so keep checking the mailbox!

if you grossed more than the required guidelines then only 1 134 if you need a sponsor then you 134 and the sponsor needs one and their supporting evidence that they can support. (tax returns, income, assets ...) also wouldn't hurt for the sponsor to write a sworn statement stating they will provide support if for some reason you cant.

Thank you, If i am using a sponsor then we will have two forms of I 134 correct. Mine ( the petitioner) and our sponsor .  Even if i don't have current income i fill one out correct?

No need for a written statement I-134 with the sign literally does that.

This is on the Affidavit of Support, right?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this means that, if you've petitioned for a visa on behalf of anyone else BESIDES the person for whom you're now filling out the AoS, you need to note that in this section.

Nope

26 a Fiance's Last name  (beneficiary) not U.S. Citizen.

26 b Fiances first name (beneficiary) not U.S. Citizen.

26 c Fiances middle name (beneficiary) not U.S. Citizen.

27 Fiancee

Yep

it is the beneficiary info as @JSCGPV said. But for example if the co-sponsor is filling this, then it would be empty as the co-sponsor didn't file any petition.

@Van & Tiger @JSCGPV

i filled everything btw (and even with my future last name 😂😂-too much free time) and it is ridiculous.

alsl to the question that asked me about my prostitution intentions in US; we are thinking of replying "now that you mentioned this maybe we move to Nevada!"

Clearly.  That was my mistake for thinking anything in those forms made sense.  (Also, the fact that reasonable and intelligent people could come up with different justifiable interpretations of the same question is a MASSIVE fail on USCIS' part.  It should be clear as day what they want and to whom the question applies!  Like, hello?!)

But at least you'll be able to hit the ground running with that form filled out.  :D

None of these forms are used for only 1 thing and that's the problem. Didn't you think why their asking about your marriage on I-129f? Or in I-134 it asks if the beneficiary is bringing their spouse with them?

because they use 1 set of form for lots of different cases ;)

@loveaquino

finally found you! This is how you fill!

There's also a sample I-134 in vj.(it is still the old version tho but the question is same. Basically it's fiances info that you petitioned for)

That makes sense.  So why not add some clarification?  ("If you are a K-1 filer, proceed to question #X.")  It'd extend the length of the form a bit, but make it a bazillion times easier for people to understand.  I assure you I am not a stupid person but I have found myself repeatedly flummoxed in this process.  Which is why this forum has been so helpful!

I bet someone with UI and UX experience would make mincemeat of the current form and turn out something simple, clear, and beautiful!

...YES YES EVERYONE I know that that's not how government stuff works!  I'm an idealist, don't judge.
