i'm not asking for you guys to lie to me and yes i just joined all happy and chirpy but thanks to your comments that's gone.  i understand all of your frustrations- doesn't matter if i applied now or 10 months ago-  doesn't matter if i joined this group now or later- me and my fiance have been monitoring visa journey long before we even applied- we all do not know what we have been through- you cannot judge me because we just applied- you do not know what we have been through-but yet we ALL have one goal- we all want to be together with our loved ones and we need to support and show respect to each other- i don't understand why everyone is tackling me because I asked if you received your visas yet? seriously.  if its bothering you than please do not reply back- i do not need negativity from anyone. i am here to support and join everyone else in the waiting process. i am a realistic person but also optimistic and happy. thank you..

I was not disrespectful.

I also haven't judged you. I was pointing out that yes, while your lawyer may have told you one thing, you've walked into a thread of people who have been going through this. We're tired. We get these questions over and over. There are lots of guides, and the current processing times are super easy to find.

You can't blame me for being annoyed - or any of us. If you've been following, you know very well that July visas haven't been handed out. If they had been, we wouldn't be here.

This group is big on common sense. If you need help, I think the December filers thread would be very useful for you, as some of us (like me) are a little high strung after waiting almost seven months to hear back from USCIS.

Just a quick one- is anyone willing to explain to me the forms and such or next steps after the NOA2? We have a lawyer but because I’m on the other side of the world these things get lost to me 😂😂 (and I apparently never listen) would really appreciate it!

Oh and heres me and my other half. Five years LDR! Five years too long....

Thought I would put this here so everyone could know me better and I could be on the forum more and let you know my timeline etc (which I am currently tying to update lol) 85EAC4A9-98E5-4840-845A-7C2049C66B4A.thumb.jpeg.7e4aa425459c5e5119b302d4fa7ae867.jpeg

If you are from the UK P.M. @vocaledge He is a June filer and also from the UK and could guide you in the right direction.

Cute Couple. You look really happy! :D

There are lots of NOA2s coming in mail without an update on case tracker.

We just got approved!!! I received the message at work and SCREAMED "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god". My co-workers were bouncing up and down with me and my boss let me go early!!!!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!

Keep checking everything! I didn't receive a text or email or letter yet but it was updated online.  I am a July 17ther.

I screamed when I saw your update, too. Ha ha... following you because we're exactly a month behind you in August and India as well!! I am so happy for you and we (me and Nihki La with similar case) will be eagerly following your journey through the interview and issuance process so please keep updating and share info!!! Xoxo

Many CONGRATULATIONS to all those getting their approvals. Happy to see that things are finally moving. Please do not forget to update your timelines. For those with the silent NOA2 (getting them in the mail with no notice on app on e-mail) please use the notice date, not the date you actually got in the mail. That will help us all keep track of what is happening. Good luck to the rest of those waiting from July (and June)!

if you are annoyed-ignore me then. simply as that.

i do not want help from an angry person who is fed up- i did not ask for your help and i think you should speak for yourself ; not for the whole group.

obviously i know there are lots of guides- and visa journey is one of them-hooraayy for me.

i already joined  the December filers- i like to look around. I am quite sure this process is gonna be irritating, frustrating, etc., but i willingly applied knowing all this and my loved one is worth waiting for so that's that.

:) but anyways, I REALLY DO HOPE you hear back soon...and a positive response. have a great day!

Going the other route at this point would probably be better. A LOT of people on the May and June threads wished they did this. It doesn't take much longer (so I hear), costs less and your fiancee will get a green card right off the bat. Probably better that way, honestly.

argh. too late for me too! i invested in soooo much money- lawyers and application fee and all the other stuff- just gotta keep praying and wishing for everyone before me to get their responses so its Decembers turn :D I am positive it will all play out well..

I stand corrected on question #26 (I erroneously kept saying 28 before).  The purpose of the question is because someone who is NOT the petitioner may be filling out the AoS.  Tiger has further explained this reasoning to me but I'm tired and crabby and it's been a long day at work so I'm not following what he's on about but if I ever get a pithy explanation from him that will enlighten all of us then I will be sure to post it.

Until then, DISREGARD my previous answers and do as @JSCGPV has suggested.  (That is, if you are the petitioner filling it out with no one else sponsoring your beneficiary, write in your fiance/e's information in that section as he outlined.)

No worries here, and it's not only been a long day, but a long Azz six months! I think we are all starting to feel the strain.
