I have a question about the medical. Since I was about 6 I have had an enlarged lymph node behind my ear, they didn't do any tests on it but it's stayed the same for 23 years now. I feel like this is going to cause a problem during the exam.. should I just wait and try to explain this to them or should I try to see if my doctors have records showing how long it's been there?

Here is some tips about medical. I think they are mainly looking at diseases that could affect another person, but I can't say for sure.

Fiance(e) K1 visa medical exam Tips

These tips can help give you peace of mind if you’re worried about the medical exam

  • 1. The US Embassy consular makes the ultimate decision to grant/deny a visa based on the medical report.  Not the physician. Although, the physician may be consulted.  If there is something that concerns “public health”, the consular may raise an objection.
  • .
  • 2. Reasons for concern: communicable diseases, STDs, mental or physical conditions that prevent normal functioning, drug addiction, or any diseases that get progressively worse.
  • .
  • 3. Get treatment.  If your fiance(e) has some medical condition, he/she can get treated for it.  If the consular or physician see that the disease is treatable, then they may approve the case.
  • .
  • 4. Bring past medical records.  Your fiance(e) should provide evidence of past or on-going treatment for any disease. This helps to convince the physician of active treatment and control that they may be concerned about.

People before and after our case have been approved already, but I know there are still more than half from our date that still say “received,” so we are definitely not alone. Not at all! Hope your approval is waiting for you tomorrow :)

This damn USPS Informed Delivery... I have tried to verify my identity now TWICE and it keeps coming up with stupid questions. I guess I am going to have to wait the old fashioned way!

My fingers are crossed and prayers are sent to everyone still waiting. I am a July 27th filer but I am hoping those way before me, get their NOA2's! I can't thank everyone on here enough for their knowledge and hard work keeping the quiet stalkers (like me) in the loop. You all are amazing!

I am now going to drink my glass of wine and pray to all of the Gods we all can be with our loves SOON! <3

Met 4/19/12, Engaged 8/15/2016, Married sometime in 2018!

Sent I-129F: 7/24/2017

NOA1: 7/27/2017

NOA2: 2/6/2018

I can't wait to be Mrs. Hook!

Hey guyes,

Our NOA1 is dated Jul. 7, and today my USC fiance got the RFE (dated Jan.24) in his mail without any updates on USCIS website or the tracking app. So always check your mailbox & wish good luck to everyone!

Also, we are a bit confused by the following RFE we got, and hope to receive any advice which will be very much appreciated. But if this is not suitable under this July fliers topic, please accept our sincere apologies and we will switch to other topic. Thanks!

FORM OMISSIONS AND CORRECTIONS

Omitted Items

Submit evidence of your (petitioner’s) residence for the past five years. Include address and the dates which you resided at each residence.

Submit evidence of your employment for the past five years. Include the name of your employer, employers address, your occupation, and the start/end dates of your employment.

Submit evidence of the beneficiarys residence for the past five years. Include address and the dates which the beneficiary resided at each residence.

Our questions:

1.    What are the possible reasons USCIS asked for these? (Just think it might be easier to answer the questions right if we get to know their mind beforehand LOL)

2.    About the evidence of residence, can it be online purchase receipt/bill that has my or fiances name, address, and shipping date on it? Or only official documents such as bank statement or utility bills will do? If latter, then Ill have to get my part translated and certified OMG

3.    My fiancee moved many times for the past five years (8 address in total). For the sake of convenience and privacy, he used to have his mails/bills delivered to his mothers place, and just changed to his PO box a couple of months ago. Therefore, never/seldom a mail was sent to his residence, which means no mail or bill can verify his residence. Plus, some of his past residence just needed no contracts, so there is literally no paper proof of his residence.  My question is what we should do in this case? Will explaining this situation in cover letter do?

4.     About the evidence of my fiances employment, will tax-related documents or employment letters from employers serve just fine? Any other way suggested/recommended?
