Well that's great news! Im a January filer. Praying that I'll have everything set in order to enter the US around September lol.

Does anyone know which service center is processing cases the fastest?

Right now it is taking 7-8 months for NOA 2 and 35+ days for NVC. With the current processing time, it will take 9 - 12 months before you will get your K1 visa in hand.

There's only one service center that processes I-129fs for k1 and that's California, they send cases if there's criminal background check etc. to Vermont.

Yeah I've heard before that the whole process is taking 8-10 months but I'm optimistic that it will be shorter than that lol I have to be. But I'll be happy if I get at least the NOA2 by July.

Is there some spreadsheet here on VJ where I can follow cases and see average processing times?

Create a vj timeline and then check k1 California service center processing times.

right now it is 190-220 days for noa2.

Oh, I didn't know that. I thought that 3 service centers processed the cases because you can go on their website and see the cases that they're processing. I was hoping that Vermont processing the 129fs because they processed my J1 Visa waiver and it was done before the expected time frame.

Will do. I just need to wait until I get a case number. And that might take a few weeks since the lawyer didn't send in a e-notification form with the packet. Now I have to wait for the hard copy -_-

You can create it with your files date only too ;)

and yes unfortunately theyre not all working for k1. We wish they were so maybe this wouldn't be that bad, but a few years ago Texas was main for this petition and because wait times were too long they transferred cases to California and now California is the main one. So if your case number starts with WAC (which is everyone here) it is California, and if they transfer you it will be written on your case status.

And I know there are other fiances here doing the same thing, which made me think how awesome that is. I don't know if I'd have another man who would do this even without being apart this far. In this jungle of relationships that barely scratches the surface, I felt lucky to be in this mess with my messy long distance love ❤️

I hear you! Nice said!

Oh, I didn't know that. If that's the case then I'm gonna make one now.

That's unfortunate. But why did processing times go up by so much? My fiancée's uncle applied for his fiancée January of last year and she had her NVC number by May/June. And then there was some miscommunication with the lawyer and she didn't inform them about the status until August. Then she scheduled everything quickly and he came to pick her up in September.
