We filed through a lawyer and were originally told 3-5 months are currently setting at the 201 days mark with no updates - Our lawyer has said "This is the new norm" with the new presidents policies...so we shall see.

Going through a lawyer, Rapid Visa, etc will not get you approved any faster. However, they can and should be able to foresee any issues, and prevent you from getting an RFE, by making sure your paperwork is correct and all required documents are in order.

Mid day scan only showed 1 update for a name change on 1/20/2018. Have no fear I'm sure they are working hard, but haven't updated the system for the day.

I was wondering the same thing, or updates at the end of the night. Who knows? Consistency is not one of the USCIS strong points.

Peoria Illinois. That's my old stomping grounds. I'm usually in Peoria every other weekend.

I remember when I was at 104 and thought how long that was, and now at 182 thinking the same thing, and I still have more time wait. Hopefully USCIS will get caught up soon and back on track.

I lived in Washington, IL for almost 15 years! I still have family in Washington/Peoria area.
