I had the same conversation about US immigration with my fiance. It is so embarrassing for me because we got waaaaaay better service and results when I was getting my permanent residency in New Zealand. I had to try and explain that this process isn't representative of everything that goes on in the US.

I really don't think getting congressional help makes it quicker, but hopefully the more we all get their help the more it makes USCIS realize we don't stay quiet. On a more depressing note, my fiance today for the first time mentioned that he had lost faith on our countries immigration system.  I fought so hard to convince him that we should live in the U.S. instead of his country. And now this is obviously not doing me any favors.

Guys I'm the beneficiary. And I'm from Turkey living in japan for 10 years now.

i don't like living in japan, but because of "overeducation" it is also hard for me to find a job that will compensate me in my home country.

now that's being said: I asked my fiancé if this goes out of proportion would he like to live in Turkey or japan cause believe me nothing like this will happen!

I understand your fiances deeply. We want to go to US because he was away from his family too long and we both love California. But to tell the truth this situation kind of ruined my trust in government business and my personal worth in US....

is there a tracker for people that got NOA2 in mail and no updates online?

PS: my boo called yesterday as we hit 130 days, and the guy said they are working on july but shortly starting august as they need to hit the numbers! I hope he wasn't lying!

Full Day Scan Results. USCIS must have a time machine or a seer that can see in the future. Notice the last entry date........... :jest:

1/21/2018 Is actually a July 7th filer. I tracked that case # in the uscis website. Post office returned his/her docs because he/she changed address. Updated address on 3/1/2018 so USCIS wants to send the docs again to the right address by 1/21/2018 . Geez! Maybe it's an RFE or NOA2. I hope it's the latter. Crossing my fingers and toes for whoever that filer is.

Don't forget guys, they go out of order. They did that to April, May, June and now are doing it to us. I'm July 3rd and have been passed by now, too. Just take a deep breath, it's totally fine. They'll get to you in due time....

How about our case, package was sent July 31st USCIS received it August 3rd.  Are we still part of July filers? Did they still put it in the July box? 😔😔

C'mon over to August thread! You're Aug 3rd so your approval is one of the keys to determine if they already started approving August filers ^_^

Yep numbers are not really in an order :) but your number will probably appear with August filers.. still it's good that we are seeing some things happening close by.

I'm hoping for a good old rain here ;)

Hey guys, so I wanted to share the information USCIS gave my congressman. They stated that they are indeed experiencing a large backlog for the I129f. They stated that this backlog was "due to a shift in priority to to other workloads". They are now adding additional resources to assist in the backlog. My petitioned should be assigned to an adjudications officer sometime in the month of February....... I am praying that this is worst case scenario and hopefully it is already assigned since I see that there is now some movement for July. Crossing my fingers.

This is the best news ever! I did say yesterday I thought we would be receiving letters soon, fingers crossed!!!

We need a flow of positive thoughts in here, I know we are all exhausted and feel stuck and want to move on, but WE ARE SO CLOSE NOW!

Hi! Been a lurker for a while and got my NOA1 on 3rd July 2017. I haven’t heard anything about an NOA2 yet. To my understanding, they’re not updating online anymore and we just have to wait for the snail mail?
