                                                                                                                                     26/7/19   - received letter from USCIS that biometrics approved (didn't have to go again, this was from last years appt)
                                                                                                                                     04/9/19   - husband rang USCIS about AP and requested expedite for AP

                                                                                                                                     04/9/19   - 15 minutes after checking the USCIS website where no change was listed, it said "Interview was scheduled".  Received email from USCIS later stating "Case Status: Testing & Interview" (438 days)

                                                                                                                                     05/9/19   - received text saying case was updated and to check website 
                                                                                                                                     09/9/19   - received USPS Informed Delivery that USCIS letter would arrive today & it was in the post. Rec'd email from USCIS requesting more info for expedite AP request. Faxed info back immediately. 
                                                                                                                     10/9/19   - rec'd approval for I131 renewal; 18/9-USCIS email "new card ordered"' 21/9 -"Card/Doc Production"; 23/9-2 ltrs in mail from USCIS, card mailed via USPS (text/email notifications for all)
                                                                                                                     25/9/19    - new EAD/AP card rec'd
                                                                                                                     17/10/19  - Interview in NYC
                                                                                                                                    7/11/19 -  email to check status online, finally "Case was Approved" and "New Card is Being Produced" on site.  App still not updated. 12/11/19 - card was mailed to us; 13/11/19 rec'd tracking number

Just recieved my hard copy of NOA1 from the Postal service today..

 

So......

 

07/21/2017 - Petition Mailed to Dallas, TX.

07/23/2017 - Petition arrived at Dallas Lockbox and ready for pick-up.

07/24/2017 - Petition delivered (picked-up) by Dallas service center.

07/27/2017 - Text/E-mail message stating petition approved and sent to California. (NOA1 presumably).

07/31/2017 - NOA 1 Hard copy

There are lots of NOA2s coming in mail without an update on case tracker.

We've officially got the ball rolling! 

 

July 18th- Sent our application visa USPS.

July 21st- Arrived at the Dallas Lockbox at 3am

July 25th- Recieved confirmation from Email

July 29th- Revieved Form I-797c (NOA1) in the mail

Hi everyone! We also got hour hard copy NOA1, the notice day is  07/26. I wanted to see if you know now what are our next steps, should we start gathering the documents for the interview i.e. affidavit? My timeline says expected date December and from reading previous messages I believe this is the NOA2, but I don't know how long after that is the interview for the foreign fiancé, anyone knows? Thanks!

You are not, too far from me. Just across I-70. My fiance has a good friend that lives in that area. I'm sure we will be over in KC area a lot once she makes it here.

Yes that is correct, that is expected NOA2 date. At this point it's a waiting game. here is a link to the VJ guide on a K1 Journey.  http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

However, I feel it never hurts to start gathering documents. Be prepared ahead of time, because you never know until you get started what you might need, or have to get a copy of.

HI ,I have the same question too btw what did you put in the boxs that arent applicable :( and what did you put in the box for your current employment end date ? its not lettig me type "present".
