Maybe I'm weird but I would be happy if I saw dates like that... because if they finish first round of overall rfes and such then they start touching every single date more firmly, and it could also mean my noa2 is already mailed or about to be mailed...

but I'm too positive maybe so who knows..

I don't think it's like that? I saw someone else say that each employee gets a box, and some employees process their box faster than others. So I don't think it's really an indication of the general speed of the applications.

but it does work like that...

i mean those cases are not at a random..

I mean yes they won't go in a perfect order. But from watching April and May and June it goes like this;

first they touch a few cases in every day in the overall month. Lots of rfes also come at this point and approvals.

once they finish touching the whole month, they continue with whatever is left.

the thing is they need to finish a month overall once because they also have to move on to the next month once the previous month finishes.

they never do only one month. Right now it's June and july, and once they go overall july and reach 50% it will be hopefully july - August with mainly working on july. This is unfortunately how this works.

so yeah I'd rather have them well into the month fast like this than letting them sit in the first week with nothing, even if it means they passed my date.

How naive of me to think they could work in any coherent manner... :rolleyes:but I'll let them do their job and just wait.

Hi JulJuls (one day I'll get a name to stick)

So this was yesterdays dates as already been posted here and fridays cases also.

WAC1790383969 07/03/17 01/12/18 Your Current Status: Name Was Updated
WAC1790392799 07/12/17 01/12/18 Your Current Status: Name Was Updated
WAC1790392800 07/12/17 01/16/18 Your Current Status: Notice Explaining USCIS' Actions Was Mailed
WAC1790392848 07/12/17 01/16/18 Your Current Status: Notice Explaining USCIS' Actions Was Mailed
WAC1790392982 07/12/17 01/16/18 Your Current Status: Notice Explaining USCIS' Actions Was Mailed
WAC1790403112 07/12/17 01/16/18 Your Current Status: Request for Additional Evidence Was Mailed

Now I searched for the case received date for that august looking case and it looks like it is also a July 12  case.

I wanted to give two insights into this,as they do not update approvals:

1) Case status changing to "Name was updated" this close to approval usually gets an approval the next day.

2) they don't suddenly go all the way into a month and send out notices..

Now this is only my experience from checking March to June cases in the past 4 months.

But I believe they are trying to finish their overall of the month as quickly as possible.

Please don't forget to register for informed delivery, cause they are not even updating rfe's correctly.

I just saw at least 8 cases changed directly to "RFE received" from "case received"

And that rfe above was updated because it had a different status (Document was returned to USCIS) - so informing was necessary.

And everyone please don't forget to update your timelines and us here, because that looks like the only way to get information at the time.

June started getting non-updated cases by its 3rd week. So I do expect lots coming in during the next two weeks.

Good luck in another USCIS working day!

Thank you for the information do you have scans for NOA1 July 5?

It all included there.

we scan for every day of July but those were the only updates online.

Keep an eye on the mail, because they are not updating rfes and approvals correctly. It comes to your mailbox suddenly.

FYI

I will be doing a full day scan here in about an hour. If there is any activity I will post it.

The Mid-Day scan showed no activity, which isn't surprising since they decided to almost stop updating anything online.

Everyone stay positive and keep checking your mail because it seems like that is the new (old) way of informing filers. :D

Maybe they wanted to lift the weight on your shoulders...

awww they like you more 🤣🤣
