Hello Jules (Julies? Juliers?..dammmn @Chicagoseal found this awesome name last time and I forgot what it was)

Well as @Dave and Kate and @JSCGPV (John this is so hard to find hehe) are putting daily updates here,

I'll be doing my best to update all of you with the dates at nights (cause well 17 hour time difference here...USCIS and I, we are not even breathing in the same date....)

Here is the daily updates happened so far 1/10-11

1/10 : 3 in Total

1/11 : 8 in Total

WAC1790384022 07/03/17 01/10/18 Your Current Status: Case Was Approved
WAC1790384738 07/03/17 01/10/18 Your Current Status: Case Was Approved
WAC1790390265 07/10/17 01/10/18 Your Current Status: Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction
WAC1790383913 07/03/17 01/11/18 Your Current Status: Request for Additional Evidence Was Mailed
WAC1790384013 07/03/17 01/11/18 Your Current Status: Request for Additional Evidence Was Mailed

WAC1790385866 07/05/17 01/11/18 Your Current Status: Case Was Reopened For Reconsideration

*Please remember as it happened in June, they are not updating these info.

There is a possibility for most of you to get non-updated Approvals or RFEs.

1) Please sign up for USPS Informed Delivery if it is available in your area.

2) Please don't rely on these updates to get information on your cases, but use these to have an idea of what-when they are doing.

Keep in mind that they do not go in an order, however we have way less cases in July!

And I will do overall updates in the weekend for each month too- however my biggest wish is that July will pass as the speed of a hurricane!

As July started with people waiting nearly 190+ days, in order to keep August under 200s they should go to 70% of July in 1 month so that August can star!

Here are the overall situation for July cases per dates (virgins + rfe&such)

So does USCIS work on MLK Jr day? I know it's a federal holiday but with them it seems that everyday is a federal holiday.....

Sadly, no.

Logic would say they are, but remember they’re not the most logical bunch.

As @Naes said, there will be many who won’t have their status updated online. For all we know, you and I may already be approved.

Well my fiancee is going to call them

Well, I called. I was connected to a super nice Tier 1 agent who told me that they get their case updates the same way we do - the USCIS website. She said that if it's not updated there, no one in the call center is going to be able to tell us anything else.

She did confirm that case loads are different for each employee - which is why some people might get approved faster than others.

Hold onto your pants, ladies and gents. It's going to be a WILD month.

Thanks for the attempt. Sort of saddened by both pieces of news to a degree. Happy that we have the same info, but would be nice to have hope that something *could* be done now. Likewise, not thrilled that the cases are done per employee instead of by priority/ease of approval. Would think they'd bang out the people who did a great job/simple approvals first - but hopeful.

I've not worked at USCIS, but I have had many jobs were people are assigned cases. Most new people get the easy stuff. The harder the case, the more senior the officer that handles it. I am hoping that is what is happening, anyway.

I called them and I got transferred to Tier 2 easily but I had to give up on the call so I could set up USA skype phone number.  Then I called back after having the phone number and the Tier 1 person said I had to call back in 2 hours or so because the Tier 2 call volumes were so high.  So now I have to call AGAIN and see if I can get to Tier 2 and arrange a call back.  I imagine that might be a while.  To make things even more complex I have to make sure I have Skype working on my phone at all times to get the call otherwise I'll miss it.  My fiance is super angry now.  I feel bad for making him go through this to move to the USA.  The stress of this is really getting to me.  I think I can make it through a few more months but I'm not so good with keeping myself level headed and not letting it impact my health.  I guess this is a good test though.  @Jaquelly I have WoW setup on my computer now for a sanity escape.  It seems to work really well except I'm not very good at it lmao.  Games are essential at this time I believe.

@Kat&Joel I played WoW for like 8 years. I uninstalled in October and think that I might have to go back to it. I play other video games but it's pretty social and I can go farm herbs for a few hours before I remember how annoyed I am at things. LOL.

It's so hard to be the USC in this situation. I feel like I am responsible for making them process the applications faster. I hate not being able to tell Andy that we are approved. He actually just got tickets (with miles, thank goodness he flies for work and we're lucky) to come visit in Feb.

If we don't have a NOA2 by then I don't know what I'll tell him.

You're not alone.

I think I'll reinstall, after all :)
