i was trying to find a topic of adding the total amount of dependants. I count myself, husband, and my two children but it looks like according to the form since I need to put "1" from the question 10 to add to my household so if that is correct, my total household would be 5???? ( is that because of the 125% poverty guidelines or am I doing something wrong?)

Thank you VJ memebers!

i know not to count anybody twice but on the form it says to put the number from question 10 on line "a" so i put 1, then i put "1" for myself, "1" for spouse and "2" for children and then it says to add all lines, well if i add all lines it comes to "5". my household is "4" but if i add all lines like the I864 says my total household is "5". can you see why it is confusing??...lol

Ok. I didn't want to sound rude. I guess you are sponsoring your husband??? If you are sponsoring your husband write 1 at 21.a. And don't count him again at 21.c. even if you are married.

Right, 21c is under people NOT being sponsored. If you were to put a 1 there you would be counting your husband twice.
