137 days and still no EAD update. It is ridiculous. Thinking of involving the local representative in my town. How do I do that? I searched online for “congressman in **address** and it showed me 2 senators and 1 representative. Who do I talk to? Do I call? Do I go to the office? Thanks.

You should have involved your congressman/woman as soon as you crossed 90 days. Anyways go to https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative and enter your zip code and once you see your rep..click on his/her name and then scroll down completely for their contact details.

I am on 108 days and already raised 1 SR and 1 expedite request recently based on a job offer letter. I have also involved the local congressman recently and on Wednesday (Nov 22nd) he has sent in an enquiry and waiting for USCIS to reply him. I guess the reply will come by next monday or tuesday.

Do I call them or I need to go to their office? I know I should have, I just didn’t think it would take this long.

That is true, on that Monday,

I spoke to Tier 1 and Tier 2 officers about my case and had congresswoman submit for me

The most frustrating part is when you ask what’s delaying it, the answer is “I don’t know could be anything”

Call them..if the office is close to where you live(2-3 miles) then go to their office because even if you call or go to their office they will give you a form to fill and return it to them or scan and e-mail them. Its a form where you provide info and authorize the local congressman/woman to enquire USCIS on your behalf.

You can use the link below to find your rep or congressman. Goodluck.

Still no word from the SR's I filed for EAD and AP. Our local congressman emailed back stating the local office didn't have our paperwork (they would only have it in the case of an emergency) and that they were now contacting NBC. Just sent off all the documents requested in the RFIE. Hopefully we can get the AP before christmas break is over and we'll be able to visit my husband's family!

It's now been 141 days.

Hi everyone.  We had our K1 AOS interview in Raleigh, NC on 11/22, the day before Thanksgiving.  Quick 10 minute interview.  Mostly ran down the questions in Section 3 of the I-485 form, like are you a member of the communist party, have you ever killed anyone, or been trained in the military?  Checked our marriage certificate and said you're approved.  Should get your conditional green card in the mail in 2 weeks.  Got a I-797 letter in the mail on 11/27 that was dated 11/22  that said our I-485 was approved.  USCIS Web site is still not updated - says interview scheduled.  Should get green card next week?  Hope this info helps.

Nov 17th, I got a call from USCIS informing me that my case had been assigned to an officer for adjudication. Nov 20th, my online SR got completed with no update until now. I also received an email saying that my SR has been closed.

Any ideas what this means? Does this mean that I will soon receive a decision on my EAD? It has been sitting for 117days already.

I pray that you get your card very soon, hang in there.

Okay. After 3 SRs and only one was completed, two tier 2 officers who were not a help at all, and over 140 days,  ( I think. I lost count already and was not hoping for anything. ) I got two mails coming today in the mailbox from the USCIS amd a priority mail package with an insurance of $100 coming in Dec 5th. Could these mails be approval letter for EAD and AP and the package is my combo card?
