spoke to my local congress office, they are emailing for me today, to try find out, then they have to wait a few days before they can call

Wow. It's ridiculous. Gonna have to do it though, was hoping we would be able to visit his family for the holidays but that is looking further and further away with this whole process.  Keep us updated if anything comes about. Some people seem to get lucky after stirring the pot and get their approval ASAP.

It is completely crazy...some people from August Filers already got their EAD and July still waiting......where is the logic on this????

I agree! I've seen that. The hoops you have to jump through throughout this entire process is beyond belief and then you have to put your entire life on hold. I contacted my local congressman's office (the washington offices only handle legislative issues) and they are forwarding a document that I must fill out to release information to them. They said they would contact USCIS on my behalf and get an update. 

Hopefully this gets the ball rolling!

No wonder people come here illegally 

 

just called and spoke to Tier 1 agent, she was helpful, she has submitted another SR request for me which I’ll hear in 10 days what the hold up is

 

all she could say is that she doesn’t know why they take so long it’s at random

Im currently on day 110, done 2 SR and now having my local congresswoman look in to it.

 

Tried to speak to Tier 2 officer, hopefully they call me back 

We are on the same boat although mine is on day 104. I have raised two SRs, none of which was assigned until now. One of them is supposed to give me feedback by Nov 15th. I intend to call them if I don't receive any reply in the next couple of days.

 

Now that they are already processing September filers as per the USCIS website, I sure hope that they can provide at the very least, an explanation as to why there is a hold up. 

 

Will keep everyone posted for any update.

My SR was completed but still haven’t heard anything 

 

started a new SR today by the a tier 1 officer which gives me a response in 10 days

 

it wont tell me why it’s been held up though,

That is what is lacking with them. They should be more transparent and efficient with their service. :/

It doesn’t matter to the people processing it. 

 

All we are is a number and that’s it, we got our local congressman involved to email in and see what happens

I called USCIS and inquired on the AP & EAD. We're now 124 days out and still just "case was received." I asked if the RFIE for the i-485 would affect our timeline for the AP & EAD and they told me it wouldn't. Submitted a SR and waiting to see if anything comes about. Might try calling tomorrow and requesting a T2 officer for an update.

So i received a call back from Tier 2 officer, again not much help. All she could say to me is that they have not made a decision yet and to keep waiting.

I called the standard number, when i got through to a tier 1 officer, i requested tier 2 and then they called me back 5 hours later

Card was delivered yesterday and it was in fact the combo card. Now we just wait for the interview.
