I called USCIS and inquired on the AP & EAD. We're now 124 days out and still just "case was received." I asked if the RFIE for the i-485 would affect our timeline for the AP & EAD and they told me it wouldn't. Submitted a SR and waiting to see if anything comes about. Might try calling tomorrow and requesting a T2 officer for an update.

Congrats to everyone who has finally gotten theirs!

I just got a message that my Card was mailed to me.

We are on day 121 today, we had no RFEs or any other blockers. We filed 2 SRs, the first one was without reply, the 2nd one was completed on Nov 2nd. I don't think that the congresswoman did anything, but I contacted her as well, this week, via email.

It is stressful, frustrating to wait so long, but happy it finally moved forward.

Good luck with your case! If your first SR was not processed for more than 14 days, I think you can file a 2nd one. Keep us posted

EAD  and AP Combo card received today :)

First Status changed to card received = 8 days.

Total days = 100

Pointers:-

  1. If EAD and AP both are filed concurrently, status of AP may or may not change. Rely only on the EAD status. More often than not you'll get a combo card.
  2. 2 NOAs (for EAD and for AP if filed) arrive within a week after your status changes to New card is being produced.
  3. Card will arrive usually within a week of status changing to 'Card was mailed'. It comes from Missouri , so considering distance and holidays, approx a week.
  4. Please register for USPS Informed delivery emails. That way you can track any incoming USCIS letters. USPS notification will come the same day around 8 am as the day of delivery.
  5. EAD card can be tracked under USPS packages. It comes as Priority mail. It will show on the dashboard as coming from 'USCIS LEES MO'. You can track and find the exact date of delivery.

Also Note:

  • Follow up on the SRs atleast twice a week. But they are unreliable. My case was approved and status of 2 raised SRs still remain unassigned.
  • Take help of L2 officers when in doubt.
  • Contact Congressman of your area ( street and zip code specific) on the 88/89th day. They take 2-3 days to get back in touch so just have some buffer time.

All the best to all :) God is working, hang in there!

USPS is not letting register for updates ... they saying they don't cover that area

PD: 09/08/2017

They received: 09/11/17

Biometeric: 10/06/17

i485 changed to case is ready to schedule 10/18/17

No Ead yet as of 11/30/17 it's been 80 days yet.

Okay. So if you guys remember, I received an RFIE last October 10th and I finally gave my response back Nov 7th and they received it Nov 9th. When do you think I will receive an update about EAD, or case status online changes, or anything?

Am sorry to say but if you receive a RFIE then the clock gets reset and starts again...

@Aviinashh what does it mean if your Service Request has been completed, but I still haven’t heard anything.

My EAD has been 110 days now

To be honest most people don't hear anything after SR gets completed. I'd advise you to call and speak to a T2 officer since it's been 110 days. I'd say call them twice a week since its wayyy out of normal processing times

Yes. It's been 128 days for my husband and he still has yet to receive his EAD or AP. I've submitted two SR's and contacted our local congressman. Going to call USCIS again and request a T2 office today and also call the congressman's office.
