Yesterday I finally received my green card! I'm so happy and relieved that the wait is over and that I can work and go visit my family back in Spain!

Received a status update on my case this morning on the tracker that my case was scheduled for an interview. Ironically enough the new DHS website didn't update but the old tracker did.

We got our EAD and AP combo card in the mail yesterday!! Hooray!!

 

Looks like we'll be able to visit his family for Christmas after all, which is good since we just found out his step grandmother has cancer :(

 

Any tips on travelling with the AP combo card?

When talking to an IO over the phone a few weeks ago when I asked him when should I expect an interview based on my local office, he recommended to call back in around December, whick kind of makes sense when looking into my office's processing times:

 

Field Office Processing Dates for Jacksonville FL as of: August 31, 2017
Form Form Name Processing Cases As Of Date:
I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status 26-Feb-17

 

If I follow their timeline the looks like I should be getting an interview by Jan next year at the latest. Finger crossed!!!

Hi guys! My EAD status just changed to "New card is being produced" (I did not request AP). I placed my first SR on Sept. 26, and a second one THIS MORNING! And just a few minutes ago I got a mail/text to check my status.

 

Now, I would like to know how long does it take to the EAD to arrive?? Thanks

Finally, my EAD/AP card arrived and it was not even on my informed delivery notification. Thank God!!

I got mine one week after I received the hard copy of Notice of Approval
